For Episode 9 I drove out to a Long Beach apartment with a 3 legged dog to meet up with my comedy buddy Keith Carey and talk with him about being Bi-Sexual.

He didn't disappoint! This turned out to be a great episode as Keith opens up and tells some hilarious stories from some of his past and often seedy rendezvous.

For this episode I ended up in the semi safe city of tustin to meet up with my comedy friends Robin Tran and Cate Gary.. aka the OC Comedy "Power Couple"..

Cate Gary is one of my favorite comics in the OC, a great joke writer, and a very poignant comic that challenges the status quo... so it should come as no surprise that she is a Feminist (annnnd Boom goes the Dynamite! Just dropped the F-bomb!) and that's what i wanted to talk to her about. Chatting with Cate is always good for some eye opening conversation without trying to label her as the advocate, activist, social justice warrior that she is :)

ROBIN TRAN:

Robin (formerly Robert) is a transgender comedian and really one of the reasons I created the podcast - because I am completely ignorant to that lifestyle .. so I was super happy when she agreed to do this episode. I have meet numerous transgender people since living out here in california but I have never gotten to know one before they came out and started going through the transition - in this case from man to women and what it entails.

To be honest even after doing this podcast I'm not sure i fully understand it, but I suppose I don't have to as long as I understand it isnt easy for the person going through the transition either. So i was really happy when Robin took the time to answer a lot of my ridiculous questions and give me her personal insight and experience on becoming a transgender person.

For Episode 06 - I traveled all the way out to the slums of Ontario California to meet up with my comedy nemesis Derrick Murray. :) Derrick is actually a good buddy of mine.. He's a good buddy of mine.. He's a good buddy of mine (I have to repeat that to convince myself)

Things get extremely real as Derrick opens up and talks about his mother’s suicide. This episode gets dark, has a few serious moments but it also has some funny stories which really makes for another great episode!

This week due to all the recent bullshit going on in Indiana and the new law they passed along with that fucking wackado lawyer in Huntington Beach.

I wanted to touch on the subject of gay marriage, So I went over to my "non comedian" buddies Kyle and Gary's condo to do just that. Talk about their marriage, about being gay, their careers, sterotypes, pride parades, glitter etc !

For the 4th Episode I went all the way out to Hollywood to meet up with my comedy buddy Craig Phillip Conant - or the ever gassy Craig Conant :)

Craig spent the better part of a decade using and abusing just about every drug there is. He shared some hilarious stoires about a bunch of his drug endused shenanigans and about the few times he got arrested for them.

Which he eventually ended up telling us about how he hit rock bottom and his desision on getting sober - going on 19 months for him now!

This episode has a few serious moments but is mostly filled with hilarious stories which makes for another great listen! Be sure to comment below and let me know how you liked it.

I recorded the 3rd Episode on the road back from San Diego this weekend with my comedy buddy Tom Goss. Tom told me about how he's been in and out of Mental Institutions the past 7 years of his life, and shared a ton of hilarious stories.  Despite having to edit out all the road noise thisturned out to be a great episode. It's the FIRST EPISODE! I'm still trying to get the hang of the recording equipment and editing software. So I invited my buddy Tony Aflano over for what I thought would be a throw away episode, but it turned out to be really good. Tony stopped by my house to tell me about the 4 years he spent picking up dead bodies for a living.
