This week, Virginia hypothetically offs herself to find out what would drive John crazy on a first date. They also talk about what habits they have that they know are pet peeves for other people (but have no plans to stop anytime soon) and offer up what their less typical pet peeves are. 

This week we go behind the music to talk about favorite albums to listen to all the way through, first concerts, and bucket list live performances. MTV Unplugged, Columbia House, and all the 90s angst your inner teen soul can handle.

This one gets a little heavy as we take a look at a few defining events during our lifetimes and ask, "Where were you?" during 9/11, the OJ Simpson murder trial, and the tech boom. We also try to definitively pinpoint which generation we each belong to (not as easy a feat as you might think). 

Some other topics we touch on: Oregon Trail, dot matrix printers, encyclopedias, and Tik Tok.

Take a walk down memory lane as we explore some questions from our childhood. What is one of your favorite memories? What's something you thought was "normal" as a child that you later found out wasn't? What's a movie from your childhood that had a big impact on you? What was your Saturday morning cartoon lineup? This week was chock full of '80s and '90s nostalgia as we reminisce about the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, Mr. Wizard, spelling bees, and Elizabeth Shue. 

It's a question most of us have asked ourselves and/or others at some point in our lives: what would you bring if you were stranded on a deserted island? Are you more pragmatic or romantic? Focused on rescue or survival? This week we explore our inner Tom Hanks à la Castaway and try to decipher the hidden meaning in our choices.  

Is there a better theme for our inaugural episode than FIRSTS? This week we explore those awkward teen years and the first celebrities that made our little hearts flutter, first dream jobs that weren't in the cards, first time being stitched up by a doctor, and first impressions back when, you know, meeting new people was a thing.
