  4. Contempt is one of the most difficult to deal with. It is when  you become so tired of a person’s behavior that everything they do disgusts you. It usually doesn't happen with a singular incident, but  an accumulation of small daily things that the other person does.

• How to get past conflict in a relationship: The most important thing is to prioritize understanding through reflective listening and genuine questions to foster resolution instead of winning an argument.
