On the Indonesian Island of Java, is it said that there is a historical building so haunted that the Indonesian government has had trouble getting people to come visit. While the building itself, known as Lawang Sewu, has a sordid and dark past, it is not the reason it has become so feared amongst the locals. Lawang Sewu is said to be home to a Pontianak. An entity so terrifying, it's hard to identify as a creature or an evil spirit.

Nestled in the Talamanca Mountains of  Costa Rica rests an abandoned Sanatorium. The decrepit structure had sheltered many lives since 1915 when it was built. It served as a ward for tuberculous patients, an asylum for the mentally ill, an orphanage, and even a prison. There can be a lot of darkness and negative energy associated with places like this, but for some reason, this place seems to bring people a great deal of peace when they visit. Stalkers typically stalk other people right? That's what we always thought. Until we heard this story from Westfield, New Jersey, where a family's dream home was apparently someone else's too.  The Broaddus family was just looking to make a fresh start in suburban life, but what should have been a great experience turned into a nightmare. The family started getting terrifying letters that spoke of things hidden in the walls of their new home and made terrible threats against the family's young children. The identity of this entity is still a mystery, they are only known as, The Watcher.
