This date night tip can be done individually, as couple, fun this way, or family.
The date tip can be long and drawn out or short and sweet. You can plan a whole evening around it or just 10 to 15 minutes before you and your partner go to bed.
You are going to keep an aspect of the future or something and your going to envision what will be like. You are going to add sound, touch, taste, sight and smell. You are going to add as many details as possible, more details the better.
Together, you will be planning your future together while building a strong Honeymoon Mindset.
What is the best way to get life back in your relationship?
What is a way to keep something in common as your goes on through out the years?
How do you end the roommate syndrome?
The best way is to talk about your future together? It isn't a one time discussion. It is a topic you should have at least once a year.
Having the discussion once a year helps keep your vision with each other alive and well. It gives you a chance to adjust and grow.
Planning your future together is a perfect way to stay in with a Honeymoon Mindset.
During this continuation of How to Discuss Body Image with your kids;
We look at how you can use the future as reference point.
How look at others image as a way of checking ourselves and the way we live. Plus, we need to be sensitive to them because we don't know what is going on in the inside.
Kimberly and James have a conversation about How to Discuss Body Image.
Idea for Date or Family night is to play the game charades, or something like it.
Before you start, make up a sheet with the questions;
First impression and why?
What memories do you associate with that thought?
What emotions do you relate to it?
You and your partner will talk about these to help get a better understanding of yourselves. When you have a better understand where those thoughts come from then you can change those assumptions, or limiting beliefs.
Assumptions are made up and not real. They are our brain trying to protect us, but in reality it does the opposite.
I share how I struggle with assumptions and what I do to deal with them.
It takes time and when you deal with assumptions, your Honeymoon Mindset will blossom even more.
When you look around all you see are these beautiful images. Images that makes us want to compare ourselves to.
This comparison starts at a young age. If it is not dealt with, it can be very dangerous to kids and give them a lifetime of stress and heartache.
Listen to Kimberly and James, we talk about body image. How and when it starts. How and why you need to talk to your kids.
