WERE BACK and we got the COVID QUARANTINE CURE!
San Diego Comic and Marine nice guy, JIM PINE stops by studio 395 for a refreshing Dos Desperados and a lengthy smoke. I had to know more about the parking lot comedy shows Jim is producing while the clubs and bars are closed for the pandemic, and how he’s keeping the grind alive for the comedy community.
Relax, take your mask off and turn your volume up, Honorable Discharge is about to spray loads.
GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, SLUTTY FRIENDS!
In this wildly healthy episode, Marine Captain and VETTv founder, Donny O’Malley talks projection and productivity goals for the upcoming year, and how breaking through brainwashing and removing unhealthy military mindsets to navigate the civilian matrix has helped him develop his career in entertainment.
It sounds deep, but the boys also talk about naked sushi ladies, the boners they get while snowboarding, ‘Apocalypse Now’ war memories and stealing things, all whilst sharing a delicious bowl of fruit!
Sit back, take yer pants off, and enjoy the first hour of Honorable Discharge in 2020!
HAPPY NEW YEARS, Slutty Friends!
Its NYE2019, so Steve Trevino and Kyle Ray stopped by Studio 395 before closing out the year at the La Jolla Comedy Store!
Theres a LOT to love about this episode as the boys share stories from the road, and Steve recalls tales of why John Travolta does NOT like him, and that time he ruined Jerry Seinfeld's lunch.
This was a weird year, but Steve's charity HELICOPTERS FOR HEROS put so many wounded veterans in the sky to hunt wild hogs out in Texas, it made sense of some of the absurdity we saw in 2019, which is just kick ass.
This episode has a high laugh to cry ratio, so grab a drink and settle in for the last episode of Honorable Discharge in this foul year of our lord, Two Thousand and Nineteen.
CHEERS!
The "Mistress of Misdirect", Jess Wellington joins the boys for some beers and stories about her time downrange stacking munitions on Predator drones.
Cunningham kicks off our "Hero Highlight" portion of the show by sharing a Medal of Honor citation. Ron reveals to Jessica how she had slighted him long ago in Hollywood prompting her to recall her first "Hat Trick" at the Store, and the time she got paid to wink at Clint Eastwood.
A great episode indeed! Sit down, grab a Surfeza, and chuckle all the way to the fjords of your own reality... Stay Slutty.
Our Veterans Day episode features a former Air Force Security Forces veteran, but you might know him from the TV shows, "Ashy Larry" - Donnell Rawlings!
How many Letters of Reprimand do you need to be a comedy ICON? The answer is 'more than you have fucks to give.'
They boys have a blast talking about life during and after the military, what their service prepared them for as comedians, and just some goofy shit.
Grab a drink, fall in and listen up... And have a Happy Veterans Day, slutty veteran friends...
James and Ron start the show by singing the Air Force Song to a very uninterested Cunningham.
The boys slam back some SURFEZAS from Dos Desperados Brewery and talk about those deployments that drove us wild! Killing flies and killing time at Studio 395 is always the move!
Stay Slutty!
This episode gets TRAILER NASTY when Vicki Barbolak stops by the studio to show us how its done! Get inside the beautiful head of Americas Got Talent finalist and nationally touring laugh riot as we enjoy each others company and stories while sipping champagne and listening to Cunningham eat cheese!
This episode is all about the wild ride of comedy - strap in!
This fun filled episode puts @lucashirl , @leesyatt, and @stevesimeonecomedy on the 395 mics and easily transcends the boundaries of anything you’ve heard as of this morning. The boys drove down from LA, you know them from Comedy Central, The Church of What’s Happening Now, and The Comedy Store in Hollywood. They’re professionals, they’re fucking hilarious, and this is an hour you’ll be glad you spent on the shitter!
Lovely Canadians, bungee jumping versus skydiving, living the comedy dream, our favorite childhood toys, jobs that have inspired our material, being around famous fucks, it’s all part of the majesty of this round table conversation betwixt slutty comedians.
Halfway through Lee tells us about the first time Uncle Joey got him stoned, Lucas geeks out on Bill Burr, Steve confesses a film he loved as a kid but is afraid to watch as an adult and Ron talks about wandering Comic Con on Mushrooms and ending up at the Dark Crystal Panel, and we all talk about times our brothers hurt us wrestling.
We don’t even get to dive into the new Terminator, the new Rambo, the new Top Gun, and the time when Steve met Mr. T! It’s just too organic, too exciting, too uncontrollable to be anything less than absolute FUN!
Buckle up, Buddies!
Studio 395 is a packed house today as we start the cast with some Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey!
Derrick Xavier Cohen, Damien Pruitt, TD Cunningham and Ron Ripley light up the board talking about Cunningham’s first set at the Hollywood Comedy Store, jokes they’re “not allowed” to say, slutty duty stations, unwanted houseguests, kit you don’t need on deployments, and they even debate an internet video where a cop runs away from a naked man.
It’s a hot episode picking apart the new Chappelle special, why they live in California, losing their tempers with the audience, and whats the best way to eject a patron from a comedy club.
And the show ends with a brief history of “Gay Chicken”.
Enjoy!
This episode kicks off Honorable Discharge as a powerhouse DUO!
TD Cunningham joins Ron Ripley to co-host the show and this introduces him with class!
The boys dive into the lifestyle of juggling comedy careers along with family and even an active duty career in the Marines.
The joy of time on stage and the journey they’re on as veterans just trying to make people laugh and how their military life experience help them along their way.
Grab a drink and join them for a heart to heart on telling better dick jokes
