HoodCast AF episodes

  • Maney MFer's

The Hoodcast gets even more unhinged this week as Tommy Toys returns to the show—and he’s not coming alone. He brings along Tron Trizzle, a hardcore Transformers collector, certified big-robot guy, and apparently just as maney as the rest of us.

Chizzle and The Fallen are in full deal-making mode, talking toys, collecting, buying, selling, and all the bullshit that comes with it. Deals are made, shit gets talked, and before long the entire show goes completely off the rails.

And trust us… you’re gonna want to WATCH this one. There’s some shit happening on this episode that you simply can’t appreciate through audio alone. If you’ve been sleeping on the Hoodcast YouTube feed, now is the time to wake the hell up.

    Tommy. Tron. Chizzle. Fallen.

“Maney and Meffers” is Hoodcast AF at its absolute hoodest.

    You’ve been warned.

  • Pokemon World Hood Edition

    🔥 HOODCAST AF — EPISODE 308 🔥

    “POKÉMON WORLD: HOOD EDITION”

Pokémon World came to the neighborhood… THE HOODCAST NEIGHBORHOOD! And while The Fallen was nowhere to be found, Chizzle was in the vicinity, slanging Pokémon like rent was due. 😂 Cards, collectors, deals, crowds, insanity—and apparently Chizzle did so well that he damn near SOLD OUT!

Now Chizzle brings the firsthand dirt from Pokémon World, including what went down, what people were buying, what people were selling, and all the madness surrounding one of the biggest Pokémon events ever to hit the Bay Area. The 2026 World Championships brought tens of thousands of Pokémon fans into San Francisco, so you already KNOW the Hoodcast crew has some shit to say about it.

But Pokémon ain’t the only thing going down…

    📞 Listener calls!

🎯 Target gets questioned over some questionable costumes!

🤨 The first action figure apparently gets hit with a VERY unusual “customization.” Let’s just say… somebody REALLY loved that figure.

🧸 Collectible news and toy insanity!

💰 More buying, selling, flipping and collector bullshit!

🔥 And plenty of other Hoodcast nonsense that probably shouldn’t be discussed in polite company.

And then there’s THE BIG QUESTION…

IS HOODCAST AF ACTUALLY GOING TO KEEP GOING?!

Rumors have been flying. People have been asking. The future of Hoodcast has been questioned.

So naturally, Fallen decides to answer the question the only way he knows how… WITH A FUCKING SONG. 🎤😂

A brand-new Fallen original addressing the rumors, the future, and whether Hoodcast AF is riding off into the sunset—or getting ready to keep causing problems.

Episode 308 is Pokémon, toys, listener calls, questionable headlines, Chizzle’s Pokémon World hustle, and a musical announcement about the future of Hoodcast AF.

Hoodcast AF. Still here? Gone tomorrow?

Listen and find the fuck out.

  • Hey You Guys!
    • CHIZZLE IS BACK!
    • After heading up to Astoria, Oregon, Chizzle returns to Hoodcast AF with stories, nostalgia, and a whole lot of opinions. Is nostalgia still worth what people say it is, or have collectors started banking WAY too hard on memories from their childhood? When does sentimental value turn into straight-up “I remember this, so it must be worth a fortune” thinking?
    • Chizzle also gives us the rundown on his trip, his daughter’s wedding, everything that went down in Astoria—and, of course, he wastes absolutely no time giving Fallen a hard time for completely messing up the show while he was gone.
    • YOU MISSED CHIZZLE, AND HE KNOWS IT.
    • Then we dive into the collectible news, and Hasbro gives collectors another reason to scratch their heads. The new Star Wars Vintage Collection INT-4 Interceptor was announced at one price, only for collectors to discover a much higher price showing up without much warning.
    • Is it nostalgia bait? Is it inflation? Is Hasbro just testing how much collectors will tolerate? Or are we all suckers for that childhood feeling?
    • Plus, plenty more toy news, collectible nonsense, opinions, arguments, and the usual Hoodcast insanity.
    • Chizzle is back. Fallen is getting blamed. Hasbro is getting roasted.
    • It’s another episode of HOODCAST AF.

  • Ep.306 Buying and Selling Tactics

Hoodcast AF is back with Episode 306, and this time Jonathan Fallen and Tommy Toys are joined by a special guest from the Knife Party podcast, Zach! Chizzle sits this one out, but don’t worry, he still manages to get himself heard when the phone call comes through.

The boys go deep on movies, pop culture, and all the shit worth talking about, including the latest Spider-Man insanity surrounding Spider-Man: Brand New Day. With the movie now out and making serious noise at the box office, there’s plenty to argue about, praise, shiz-talk, and dissect.

Then the conversation takes a hard turn into the world of buying and selling collectibles. Toy shows, Comic-Cons, flea markets, negotiating, making deals, knowing when to walk away, and all the dirty little tricks that come with trying to get the best price—or squeeze the most money out of something you’re selling.

Fallen, Tommy Toys, and Zach break down the unwritten rules of the collectible hustle, share some real-world experiences, and get into the tactics people actually use when money and toys are on the table.

And of course, because this is Hoodcast AF, the conversation eventually goes completely off the rails.

Movies. Toys. Pop culture. Buying. Selling. Haggling. Scheming. Chizzle calling in from the sidelines. And three dudes talking way too much shiz.

Episode 306 is another straight-up Hoodcast episode. You know what you’re getting.

Tune in, turn it up, and prepare for some crazy shiz.

  • The NeeDoh Jam

The Hoodcast is BACK to basics, baby—and this time, we’re getting SQUISHY.

Episode 305, NEEDO JAM, brings the one and only Tommy Toys into the Hoodcast universe after years of talking about this dude. Tommy has crossed paths with everybody: Fallen, Mikey V Town, Cobra, Chizzle—hell, Tommy calls Chizzle “Chucky.” Whatever you wanna call him, the man is finally HERE.

And he’s bringing the NeeDoh knowledge.

What the hell is a Needoh? Why are grown-ass adults standing in lines for weird sensory squish toys? Why are stores getting raided like there’s a PS5 shortage? And why the hell are people acting like these things are the last toys on Earth?

    Tommy Toys knows.

And this episode is an absolute BARN BURNER.

Fallen, Chizzle, and Tommy go completely off the rails as Hoodcast returns to its roots: toys, collectibles, pop culture, stupid shit, questionable conversations, and enough nonsense to make you wonder how we ever got 305 episodes into this.

We talk Needohs, collecting, the toy game, and a whole lot of shit that has absolutely nothing to do with toys.

Including the absolutely insane story surrounding the fart that allegedly killed the audience at the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Nobody actually died. THANK GOD. But apparently somebody brought an ass to the theater that was more powerful than the MCU.

    And that’s just the beginning.

Plus, Tommy Toys has a Needoh song. That’s right. A full-blown Needo JAM. Unfortunately, you’re not getting the full performance on the regular episode.

    You want the practice version?

    That’s AFTER SHOW territory.

Head over to the Patreon if you want to hear Tommy Toys drop the Needo anthem that you didn’t know you needed.

    NEEDOH JAM. EPISODE 305.

Tommy Toys is finally on Hoodcast AF.

    The Hood is open.

    The Needohs are squishy.

And we’re fucking wilding out again.

Hoodcast AF. Back to basics. Back to stupid. Back to fun.

You’re gonna love every damn minute of it.

  • SDCC 26

San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone, and if you were expecting Jonathan Fallen and Chizzle to shower this year’s reveals with praise… think again.

Episode 304 dives headfirst into the biggest SDCC ‘26 action figure announcements, and the guys aren’t pulling any punches. From underwhelming Star Wars reveals to toy lines that left collectors scratching their heads, this year’s convention gets the full Hoodcast treatment. Sure, there are a few bright spots—especially some of the WWE reveals that actually impressed them—but for the most part, it’s an all-out roast of what many collectors waited all year to see. Recent SDCC showcases included major Hasbro Star Wars reveals and a strong lineup of Mattel WWE figures, giving the crew plenty of ammunition for both praise and criticism. (LaughingPlace.com)

As always, the toy talk is only the beginning. Expect plenty of side tangents, laughs, arguments, random chaos, and the kind of off-the-wall conversations that only Hoodcast AF can deliver.

If you’re a collector who’s been wondering whether SDCC 2026 lived up to the hype—or just want to hear two guys absolutely tear into the biggest reveals of the year—this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Hoodcast AF Episode 304: SDCC ’26. The reveals are in… and the verdict isn’t pretty.

  • Clown Memorium

Every podcast has an origin story, and this week, Hoodcast AF goes back to the beginning.

After a call from listener D. Rotten, Jonathan Fallen and Chizzle take a trip down memory lane, sharing the moments that sparked their love for recording, radio, and eventually podcasting. Jonathan talks about making homemade recordings on cassette tapes as a kid, including one surprisingly dark and bizarre story about a clown in a confessional. For something created by an 11-year-old, it’s unexpectedly wild, proving that some people were just born to entertain.

Chizzle shares his own early broadcasting adventures, revealing how he’d secretly record stories and skits onto his mom’s answering machine without her knowing. It’s a nostalgic look back at the DIY days before podcasts existed, when imagination was all you needed.

Of course, this is still Hoodcast AF, so the conversation shifts into the latest collectible news. The guys break down the recent Pokémon card price controversy, discussing GameStop’s markup before Nintendo stepped in, leading to prices being lowered. They also cover the latest reveals from McFarlane Toys and other collectible news from around the hobby.

And then… the friendship is tested.

Chizzle boldly declares that Friends is a better sitcom than Seinfeld, prompting Jonathan Fallen to immediately tell him to “get the F out of here”—and this time, he actually means it. It’s one of the funniest debates the show’s had in a while.

Less chaos than usual, but no shortage of laughs, nostalgia, and collectible talk. Whether you’ve been listening since day one or you’re just discovering Hoodcast AF, Episode 303 is a fun look at where it all began—and where it’s headed next.

  • This is a Podcast about Pokemon

Forget everything else—this week, it’s all about Pokémon!

Chizzle and The Fallen dedicate an entire episode to the world’s biggest trading card game, diving headfirst into the upcoming Pokémon Celebration releases, what has collectors hyped, and whether the newest products are worth chasing. They also take a nostalgic trip through classic Pokémon sets, memorable pulls, and the cards that helped create the hobby we know today. The highly anticipated Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration products are also on the radar, including the newest announcements and why they’re already generating massive buzz among collectors.

Of course, no Pokémon discussion would be complete without tackling the never-ending battle against scalpers. From empty shelves to outrageous resale prices, the guys vent about the state of the hobby, share their own experiences, and debate what can be done to keep Pokémon fun for everyone.

The laughs don’t stop there. Fan-favorite segments return with a Pokémon twist, including the return of Missed Connections, where every awkward encounter, collector story, and hilarious situation somehow circles back to Pikachu, Charizard, or that one guy buying every ETB in sight.

Whether you’ve been collecting since Base Set or just ripped your first pack yesterday, this episode is packed with nostalgia, opinions, stories, and Hoodcast-style chaos that every Pokémon fan will appreciate.

  • Hood-Dependence Day 6

This week on Hoodcast AF, we’re celebrating two birthdays at once. It’s the Fourth of July, America’s 250th birthday, and somehow, by pure coincidence and impeccable timing, it’s also the six-year anniversary of Hoodcast AF. That’s right—six years of collectibles, chaos, arguments, and questionable life decisions.

So for Episode 301, the crew goes back to basics.

Jonathan Fallen and Chizzle dig into one of those viral collector posts claiming to reveal the “seven signs you’re maturing as a collector.” Is it wisdom? Is it gatekeeping? Is it complete and utter bullshit? The guys break down every point, using it as a launching pad to talk about their own collecting journeys—the highs, the lows, the regrets, the grails, and where they find themselves as collectors today.

It’s an old-school Hoodcast episode in all the best ways.

And while CobraDad may no longer be sitting behind the microphone, he’s absolutely there in spirit. In fact, there are a few moments where you can almost hear exactly what he’d have to say about some of these takes.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Hoodcast without diving headfirst into the latest collectible insanity. The crew covers action figures, trading cards, industry drama, acquisitions, and the bizarre news surrounding the Toys “R” Us brand and its sale to NECA in Canada. Plus, the guys reveal their latest pickups, and let’s just say the recent acquisitions segment goes off the rails in spectacular fashion.

To cap off this patriotic and podcasting milestone, the show ends the only way Hoodcast knows how: with one of the most gloriously terrible renditions of the national anthem ever committed to tape—courtesy of D-Generation X from WrestleMania. Which WrestleMania? Honestly, who gives a shit. It’s awful, it’s amazing, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate six years of Hoodcast AF.

    Happy birthday, America.

    Happy birthday, Hoodcast.

    Let’s raise some hell.
