As the KISS-World Turns: KISS Announces Rock And Roll Over 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Box Set

KISS is opening the vault again — and this one is HUGE!

On this edition of Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast — As the KISS-World Turns, Anthony, Father Rocco, Black Diamond Dave and DD-Deb break down the newly announced KISS Rock And Roll Over 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition, arriving November 6, 2026.

One of the most beloved albums in the KISS catalog is getting the full Super Deluxe treatment — and there is A LOT for the KISS Army to talk about.

The massive collection features 130 total tracks, including 100 previously unreleased tracks and mixes, beginning with the classic 1976 album newly remastered from the original stereo analog tapes.

But that's only the beginning.

Original Rock And Roll Over producer and engineer Eddie Kramer has returned to create an entirely new 2026 stereo mix of the album from the original analog multitrack tapes.

We're also getting 22 unreleased demos, alternate mixes and outtakes, including nine Gene Simmons demos, Paul Stanley's "I Want Love" demo, extended versions, Davlen Sound Studios demos and the long-discussed unfinished instrumental "Queen For A Day."

And then there's LIVE KISS!

The collection reaches back to KISS's historic first trip to Japan in 1977, featuring newly mixed performances recorded at the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

The Blu-ray takes things even further with the original album and Eddie Kramer's new 2026 mix presented in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround and high-resolution audio.

And because this is KISS, you know there are KOLLECTIBLES!

A 104-page hardcover book, rare photographs, press materials, posters, trading cards, guitar picks, ticket reproductions, coasters, stickers, a stage magnet sheet, newspaper and plenty more are packed into the Super Deluxe editions.

Fleetwood Mac Made a MASTERPIECE While Falling Apart | Rumours

🎙️ CAN AN ALBUM REALLY BE CONSIDERED PERFECT?
This week on Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast, Anthony, Father Rocco, Black Diamond Dave and DD-Deb step outside the KISS universe to tackle one of the most celebrated—and successful—albums ever recorded:
FLEETWOOD MAC — RUMOURS
Released in 1977, Rumours became a landmark of rock music, combining incredible songwriting, unforgettable performances and gorgeous production with enough behind-the-scenes dysfunction to fuel several albums.
And that's part of what makes this record so fascinating.
While Fleetwood Mac was creating these songs, relationships within and around the band were falling apart.
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were separating.
Christine and John McVie had divorced.
Mick Fleetwood's marriage was also collapsing.
Yet all five members still had to walk into the studio, look one another in the eye, play on each other's songs—and sometimes sing harmonies on songs that were very clearly about each other.
Somehow, out of all that chaos came:
RUMOURS.
The classic Fleetwood Mac lineup of:

created an album filled with heartbreak, anger, optimism, jealousy, love, resentment and some of the most recognizable songs of the 1970s.

“Dreams” — Stevie Nicks delivers one of Fleetwood Mac's defining performances and one of the most recognizable songs of the band's career.
“Never Going Back Again” — Buckingham strips things down and lets his intricate acoustic guitar work take center stage.
“Don't Stop” — Christine McVie turns the end of a relationship into one of rock's great statements about moving forward.
“Go Your Own Way” — Buckingham transforms anger and heartbreak into one of Fleetwood Mac's signature rock songs.
“Songbird” — Christine McVie delivers a beautiful, intimate performance that provides an emotional counterweight to the drama surrounding the record.
“The Chain” — the only song on the album credited to all five members—and arguably the musical embodiment of Fleetwood Mac itself.
“You Make Loving Fun” — Christine McVie delivers another infectious classic while her personal life provides yet another chapter in the album's extraordinary backstory.
“I Don't Want to Know” — Buckingham and Nicks bring their vocal chemistry to a deceptively upbeat song about a relationship going wrong.
“Oh Daddy” — Christine McVie takes the album into darker, more atmospheric territory.

The HOLY GRAIL of KISS Footage May Be Sitting in the Vault!

🦊 COULD THE HOLY GRAIL OF ERIC CARR KISS FOOTAGE ACTUALLY EXIST?!
This week on Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast — As the KISS-World Turns, the Hooligans dive into a fascinating piece of news first discussed by our friends at Podcast Rock City during their interview with KISS historian and author Robert V. Conte.
And if what Conte says is correct...
Somewhere inside the KISS vault may be a piece of KISStory fans have wanted to see for DECADES.
🦊 ERIC CARR'S FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE WITH KISS.
On July 25, 1980, KISS took the stage at the Palladium in New York City.
But this wasn't just another KISS concert.
It was the beginning of a completely new chapter.
Peter Criss was gone.
Eric Carr was in.
And for the first time, KISS fans saw the man who would become The Fox take the stage in his new makeup and costume alongside:
⭐ Paul Stanley👹 Gene Simmons🚀 Ace Frehley
and...
🦊 ERIC CARR.
Now Robert V. Conte has purported that video footage of that historic Palladium concert exists within the KISS archives.
Let that sink in.
Not simply photographs.
Not a fan's memory.
Not another audio recording.
VIDEO.
If such footage survives in releasable form, it would capture one of the most important transitional moments in the history of KISS: Eric Carr's first concert as the band's drummer.
For Eric Carr fans, this isn't simply another unreleased KISS concert.
THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL.
The Hooligans dig into the story, what Conte said, why this particular concert is so historically important and the obvious question that immediately follows:
