Fleetwood Mac Made a MASTERPIECE While Falling Apart | Rumours

🎙️ CAN AN ALBUM REALLY BE CONSIDERED PERFECT?
This week on Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast, Anthony, Father Rocco, Black Diamond Dave and DD-Deb step outside the KISS universe to tackle one of the most celebrated—and successful—albums ever recorded:
FLEETWOOD MAC — RUMOURS
Released in 1977, Rumours became a landmark of rock music, combining incredible songwriting, unforgettable performances and gorgeous production with enough behind-the-scenes dysfunction to fuel several albums.
And that's part of what makes this record so fascinating.
While Fleetwood Mac was creating these songs, relationships within and around the band were falling apart.
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were separating.
Christine and John McVie had divorced.
Mick Fleetwood's marriage was also collapsing.
Yet all five members still had to walk into the studio, look one another in the eye, play on each other's songs—and sometimes sing harmonies on songs that were very clearly about each other.
Somehow, out of all that chaos came:
RUMOURS.
The classic Fleetwood Mac lineup of:

created an album filled with heartbreak, anger, optimism, jealousy, love, resentment and some of the most recognizable songs of the 1970s.

The HOLY GRAIL of KISS Footage May Be Sitting in the Vault!

🦊 COULD THE HOLY GRAIL OF ERIC CARR KISS FOOTAGE ACTUALLY EXIST?!
This week on Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast — As the KISS-World Turns, the Hooligans dive into a fascinating piece of news first discussed by our friends at Podcast Rock City during their interview with KISS historian and author Robert V. Conte.
And if what Conte says is correct...
Somewhere inside the KISS vault may be a piece of KISStory fans have wanted to see for DECADES.
🦊 ERIC CARR'S FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE WITH KISS.
On July 25, 1980, KISS took the stage at the Palladium in New York City.
But this wasn't just another KISS concert.
It was the beginning of a completely new chapter.
Peter Criss was gone.
Eric Carr was in.
And for the first time, KISS fans saw the man who would become The Fox take the stage in his new makeup and costume alongside:
⭐ Paul Stanley👹 Gene Simmons🚀 Ace Frehley
and...
🦊 ERIC CARR.
Now Robert V. Conte has purported that video footage of that historic Palladium concert exists within the KISS archives.
Let that sink in.
Not simply photographs.
Not a fan's memory.
Not another audio recording.
VIDEO.
If such footage survives in releasable form, it would capture one of the most important transitional moments in the history of KISS: Eric Carr's first concert as the band's drummer.
For Eric Carr fans, this isn't simply another unreleased KISS concert.
THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL.

KISS Destroys Anaheim ’76 Is HERE + Gene Says KISS Needs PERMISSION to Play?!

🔥 A legendary KISS concert is finally official—but does somebody else now have the final say over whether KISS can ever perform again?
Welcome back to another episode of Hooligan Nation: A KISS-Centric Podcast — As the KISS-World Turns, where Anthony, Father Rocco, Black Diamond Dave and DD-Deb dive into another batch of KISStory, controversy and current KISS news.
🎸 KISS DESTROYS ANAHEIM ’76
Fifty years after KISS stormed Anaheim Stadium on August 20, 1976, the legendary concert has finally received its first official release.
KISS Destroys Anaheim ’76 captures the original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Crissduring the Destroyer era in front of more than 42,000 fans—the band's largest audience up to that point. The concert was originally recorded by legendary producer Eddie Kramer, who returned to newly mix the show from the original multitrack tapes for this release. 
The Hooligans break down the release and ask:
🔥 Does Anaheim ’76 live up to its legendary reputation?
🎸 How does it compare to KISS' other classic live releases?
💿 And should the KISS vault be opened for MORE archival concerts?
But that's only the beginning...
👨‍👦 STANLEY SIMMONS
We also discuss Stanley Simmons, the musical collaboration between Paul Stanley's son Evan Stanley and Gene Simmons' son Nick Simmons—and the criticism they've received for performing under their famous last names.
Their response?
They're literally their names.
Evan and Nick have addressed the criticism surrounding the decision, explaining that the project came together organically and that “Stanley Simmons” simply made sense to them. 
So the Hooligans ask:
Are they capitalizing on two of the most famous names in rock—or would it be ridiculous NOT to use their actual names?
And then Gene Simmons gives us the biggest discussion of the episode...
👹 DOES KISS NEED PERMISSION TO BE KISS?
In a recent interview, Gene explained that following the deal involving the KISS brand and Pophouse, KISS can't simply decide tomorrow to put the makeup back on and perform another KISS concert.
According to Gene, because Pophouse controls rights associated with KISS—including the makeup and other assets—a future traditional KISS performance would require Pophouse's approval. 
Think about that for a second...
Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons helped create KISS.
But can Paul and Gene now simply decide:
“We're putting KISS back together.”?
Apparently, it's no longer entirely their decision.
And you KNOW the Hooligans have opinions about THAT.

KISS Killers: The Beginning of a New Era

Was KISS Killers really just another greatest-hits album—or was it one of the most important transitional releases in KISStory?
