This week’s episode features Danielle (Dani) Langford, a lifelong athlete whose journey in sport began on the basketball court. With a coach for a father, Dani grew up immersed in team environments and quickly found her passion for basketball. That passion carried her to represent Canada internationally and compete at the collegiate level, experiences that gave her lifelong skills, memories, and connections.

Today, Dani brings that same love of sport to her role as Manager of Player Rehabilitation with the Golden State Warriors, where she has worked for the past four years. She thrives on helping athletes return to what they love, viewing each case as a unique puzzle to solve. For Dani, the greatest reward lies in the people—learning from colleagues, supporting players, and being part of a team built to set athletes up for success.

Beyond the court, Dani is also a proud mother of two, balancing the challenges of family life with the demands of elite sport. I was thrilled to have her on the show to share her story, her passion, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. Enjoy!
