This week, our Heroes react to the new novel-turned-video-game-turned-Netlix-series "The Witcher". Sir Jordin of Anchorage gushes over the creatures and spell casting, Sir JR of Auburn voices his opinion on the timeline of the season, and Sir Zachariah of Newcastle isn't happy with some of the character choices the show made in comparison to the video game.

This week, our Heroes react to the new Disney+ headliner - The Mandalorian. JR expresses his heartbreak over the current NFL playoff scenario, Jordin gives some unpopular opinions (are they though?) while Zach (yes, they really are) tackles all of the easter eggs you need to know to understand the future of the Star Wars universe.

This week, fan-favorite Rorschach returns as our Heroes break down Damon Lindelof's masterpiece that is the new HBO series Watchmen. Jordin discusses his fantasy football follies and expresses his love for Silk Spectre, JR admires the new and improved Dr. Manhattan while Zach acknowledges the cultural significance of the show - and he got some new PJ's for the holiday.

Happy Holidays Hop Heads! We reach our conclusion this week to the new X-Men saga brought to this planet by Jonathan Hickman. Our Heroes recap the second half of the saga, and give their final conclusions on the story and its cultural impact to the comic book universe.

This week on Hop Heroes; Jordin, JR, and Zach have Part 1 of a double parted episode dedicated to Jonathan Hickman's new X-Men miniseries, "House Of X" and "Powers Of X". Along with the mutant comics, our choice beverage is the new popular Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. After opening a couple bottles, the guys jump right into discussion about Hickman's intertwined dual 6 issued prologue to the epic new X-Men world. Tune in as we wonder and explore this new place called Krakoa... but right after Zach tells a story about chopping down a Chirstmas tree.

This week, we bring you an episode we thought we lost due to technical difficulties. Originally recorded the week before the movie phenom, we breakdown the most famous Joker comic story. Arc.by Allen Moore and art by Brian Bolland. As we pick apart this famous graphic novel, the guys toss back a glass or two of some fine Michael David Cabernet: Freakshow. With that they begin stating their predictions of the new Joker film and how it will relate to "The Killing Joke".

On this episode, the guys slip into the shadows and discover the ultimate hunter; Blade - the vampire slayer. So of course; Jordin, JR, and Zach quench their thirst with a glass of Bloody Mary. Before discussing the famous movie series featuring Wesley Snipes, the gang goes back in time through Marvel Comic history to Blade's roots. Referencing the 1972 comics, Tomb of Dracula #10, 24, & 58, our heroes are introduced to a very different Blade character then they're use to. Tune in to the group's reaction of the funky origins of the half-vampire, vampire slayer. Also, Zach brings up some interesting behind-the-scenes drama from the film set of Blade: Trinity. Can you did it?    

On this episode, Vinny fills in for JR on this group discussion about the Hellblazer himself, John Constantine. This conversation is led with a couple empty glasses, of what we thought was his signature drink, gin and tonic. The guys read the first volume (Original Sins) of the 1988 original story arc, "John Constantine: Hellblazer" written by Jamie Delano and art by John Ridgway. After Constantine's formal introduction, the guys are quick to judge the warlock's morals or lack-there-of. The quick witted and silver tongued magician seems to drag the ghosts of loved ones and death with him everywhere. So listen up and tune into your dark side.

We're back!.. and still a little sick, but never fear! We're well enough to get back on page with our comics and beer. The guys choose to smash back into things with the new popular on-going series "The Immortal Hulk". We enjoy some bottles of Immortal IPA by Elysian Brewing Company while discussing this thrilling story arc, giving the Hulk a horror-like edge. We mainly talk about volume 1 and little of volume 2, written by Al Ewing and art by Joe Bennett. Also, Vinny is back with a special Hop Headlines and then the rest of the gang takes a hard look into the terrifying divide between Bruce Banner and the Immortal Hulk.
