Andrew and Erik return for an election week wrap-up podcast. We promise we'll get back to our traditional format with severely less politics, but for now, we don't really have any topics. This episode was recorded on Saturday November 7th, hours after news media had called the election for Joe Biden. A lot of this episode is our reactions and thoughts on the election week.

The United States had an election this week. Maybe you've heard of it. That's right, this is a politics episode. @ItsPaulWarren from the "Let's Unpack That" podcast joins Joe on the podcast this week to discuss the election and talk about where the Republican party goes from here in a post-Trump world (24:10) and consequently, where the Democratic party will go from here after this election (54:15).

We're back! (Sorry about that break). We took a quick two week break but we are back for Halloween. Joe visited his friend Devon over the last weekend and sat down with her and her roommate Teresa to talk all things spooky. We discuss our best and worst Halloween costumes (10:13), our favorite Halloween stories (29:30), and our childhood Halloween traditions (55:00). We hope to not have another break like that (unannounced) for a while!

Erik and Andrew come back and join Joe for this week's episode. We discuss creative projects we're either working on or proud of (17:38), working out with video games and talk through some new games we're playing (49:15), and discuss the idea of a four day work week and what we'd do with more time in our lives (1:19:01).

We have two new faces (voices?) on this week's episode. Meg and Wren join Joe this week to discuss our favorite Fall/Halloween activities (15:31), our favorite character tropes in TV and movies (37:46), and our favorite TV shows we can watch over and over again (1:01:52).

Matt is back for another one-on-one episode (we promise we'll be back to the more traditional three person model next week). This week we discuss what kind of travelers we are and how we approach vacationing (15:15), we take a brief aside from this topic to talk about coffee (31:09) and but come back and wrap the topic up (40:22). We close the show talking about Covid (as is customary) and how it has affected our plans for 2020 (56:17).

We're back on the one-on-one podcast format (we've tested this a lot). Matt from our very first episode (and some others) comes back to catch up with Joe after 6 months of isolation. We catch up and talk through the moments we finally realized we were old (11:40) and what our dream side hustles are (35:56).

This week Hop Topic tries something new. We do our very first one-on-one episode. Joe catches up with his friend Aly to discuss... just about a million tangents. The topics for this one are too numerous to put in words, but we do go through a lot from the book "The Game of Desire" by Shan Boodram.

Dan and Jason come back this week to catch up on the shows we've been binging lately (7:40), dive into the idea of government overreach (keeping it light) (36:45), and settled down with discussing the best and worst fantasy worlds to live in (1:11:10).
