Join us as we dive into the scripture, Luke 2:1-21, in which Jesus' birth is recorded. In this sermon, we discuss the Good News, Great Joy, and Peace on Earth that Jesus brings. He is the better path in life, and He has a better path for your life if He is your Savior.

In this sermon, we read Luke 1:5-38 where the angel, Gabriel, delivers the Word of God to both Zechariah and Mary prior to the birth of Jesus. We see that two types of people are revealed. Which one are you? Do you rely on the superficial things of the world for fulfillment? Or will you rely on the better promise, Jesus?

Many people wonder, "What is the will of God?" In this scripture, we see that Jesus's family is missing it, Jesus is on a mission, and Jesus hands us our mission. We end by discussing many of the examples of the will of God throughout scripture.

Jesus explains that there is one sin that is unforgivable and has eternal consequences. In Mark 3:22-30, Jesus discusses this specific sin and the context for which it is unforgivable. Join us as we continue to read through the book of Mark.

As we read through Mark 3:7-21, we see the "friends" of Jesus, the followers of Jesus, and the family of Jesus revealed through the Scripture. Which one are you more like? Have you completely surrendered your life to Christ?

Today we read through Mark 3:1-6 and discuss a healthy orbit with Jesus in the center of it all. As we read through the Scripture, we see there are two types revealed, a choice is offered, the unlikely is loved, and a decision is forced. Does your life revolve around God, or does God revolve around your life?

One goal in life for many people is to just be a better person. To do better in life, whatever that may look like. No doubt, that is a good thing. However, what is even better is doing life with Jesus. One place to start is surrendering your life to Jesus Christ and living with Him. Join us as we dive into Mark 2:18-28 where Jesus explains the expectations of fasting and Sabbath-keeping in addition to discussing how surrendering your life to Jesus displays God's new work in your life.

In this section of Mark, Jesus heals a paralytic and calls Levi to follow him. Through the Scripture, we see Jesus revealing He is the truth and loving sinners. As believers in Christ and sinners ourselves, this gives us hope. Jesus is the truth and He will never leave or forsake you. We can hope in Him.

Having things in life is good. Food to eat, clothes to wear, people to love - all good things in life. Following Jesus is better. Living for Jesus is better. As we read through Mark 1:29-45, we see Jesus heal, cleanse, and preach the gospel. The reason Jesus came was to sacrifice himself for us, to spiritually heal us. Jesus is better!
