God is always at work around us. We must surrender to His will. He is the one in charge. He will bring about His holy will. Our task is to get out of His way and join Him in what He is doing.

God is not limited by our faith, our experiences, our situations, or our understanding. He is always at work, in even our worst situations, for His glory.

Continuing our look at Covenant through the book of Genesis, we see the sovereign hand of God at work despite the disfunction and sin of Abraham's descendants.

God keeps His covenant to us, not based on who we are or what we do, but based on who He is and what He has done.

God called Abraham to do the impossible. Abraham, who had caused endless trouble by doubting God and trying to fulfill God's promise his own way, now demonstrates complete faith...and we are witness to an amazing lesson in Substitutionary Atonement.
