This Sunday we start a new series through the Old Testament. In the Genesis 1 creation story we see God's incredible character.

How do you recover from failure? As we look at final chapter of the gospel of John, we'll see how we need to run to Jesus, and have the hard conversation, knowing that God's discipline is for our healing and that he still has his purposes for our lives.

Jesus's appearances to his disciples cleared away their doubt of his resurrection and paved the way for their empowered participation in the mission he gave them to be his witnesses. Today we still benefit from their faithfulness, having received the testimony about Jesus, and then received life in his name when we believed. May we share the good news of Jesus's resurrection with confidence in the solid evidence of trustworthy witnesses and the ongoing work of God among us.
