In our new Sermon Series, “What Does a Community Transformed by Christ Look Like?” exploring Acts 2:42-43 and the spiritual foundations of the early church. In this message, What Happens When We Make Room For God? we explore how the early church devoted themselves to Christ's teaching, fellowship, and prayer before signs and wonders ever appeared.
Rather than chasing manifestations, the early church pursued Jesus and the Holy Spirit moved powerfully among them. This message challenges us to recover a sense of awe, deepen our devotion to Christ, and trust God to work in ways that point people to the Savior.
We examine how reverence for God's holiness filled believers with awe, and how the Holy Spirit worked through signs, wonders, and spiritual gifts to continually point people back to Jesus.
This message reminds us Christ centered Communities are transformed communities not built around experiences or personalities, but around devotion to Christ, prayerful dependence, holy reverence, and Spirit-empowered witness.
When we make room for God, He continues to reveal His presence, transform lives, and build His Church for His glory.
