God is building a spiritual house out of living stones where He dwells among His people.  According to 1 Peter 2:5 we as His people are a holy priesthood set apart to offer “spiritual sacrifices” in this house.   This message explores the interchange that happens as we surrender our hearts in worship / intercession resulting in more of God’s Presence in our midst.

Generosity is a three-way blessing we don’t want to miss. Paul teaches us in his letter to the Philippians just how to live out generosity to the fullest. How are you experiencing contentment and concern in your interaction with others and God?

Dealing With Our Hiddenness

Jesus chose us and appointed us to bear fruit. When we glory in Him and love one another, the natural outflow is bearing fruit. But we don’t do it alone. Love bears fruit in the outflow of our relationships and prayer.

God is building a spiritual house made of living stones. This house is a place for His presence to be made known.   King David in Psalms 26:8 declared “I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells.”    What David desired is available right now to the Church through what Jesus did at the cross.  It is not a side benefit of the kingdom but is central.  Jesus died to give us access to His glory.

There’s a lot of talk about love in our world today. But how do we actually live it out? How do we excel in love in our everyday world? There’s a lot to learn from a guy named Ezra in the Old Testament. His example can tell us a lot about how to activate love in 2017.

Jesus’ love for us changes us so that we can excel in loving one another. This is the core of relationships centered on Jesus and it’s the basic reality for Christian community. When we love with Christ’s love, we experience a love without hypocrisy that the Bible defines as sincere love. Here’s how we experience that in our Hope Communities at Hope in the City. The expected Messiah came and fulfilled what Isaiah told us would happen. But now it’s your turn to walk out the anointing Jesus gives you to fulfill His purposes in the earth.
