Becoming more like Jesus is not an easy process. He has saved us but we are also being saved. Philippians 2:12-13 tells us to “work hard to show the results of your salvation” and to do it with “reverence and fear”. This message is to help us recognize our God infinite in power is working to make us more like Him.

Jesus’ life, death and resurrection changed history forever. Through Him we now have forgiveness, eternal life and new life now in every situation we face. Rejoice! Christ is risen from the dead!

Many of us can feel like our joy-meter is running low. Rather than keep searching within to fix a problem, Paul shows us another way to find joy…even in prison.

There are times in life we all face situations where God does not show us specific outcomes. He just says “walk with me”. Paul understood this and walked in confidence through tremendous adversity. This message looks at how we can learn this powerful aspect of faith called “Confidence”. Not confidence in our own strength or abilities but in God. Philippians 1:20

We cannot have a living and active faith unless we prioritize the connection with the Living and Active God through prayer. We must fight to find and preserve the place of prayer in our lives. This is the upward call of the believer… look beyond the worries of this life and focus on intimacy with Jesus. We’ll accomplish much more in life when we set Him first in the place of prayer.

Jesus brings peace to race relations when we see each other in Christ’s light. We see one another as the image of God bearers on beautiful display with all the uniqueness of our cultural backgrounds, bringing a dynamic song of praise to God.
