You don’t have anything going on in your life right now, do you? If you don’t, are you sure you’re breathing? Most everybody is either going through something, just went through something or you’re getting ready to go through something. Isaiah 55:9 says “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” We may not understand what God is doing at certain times and in certain seasons of our lives but we can be sure that He is on the throne and he loves us.

If you are in a situation where you have no idea how God will work in it, remember that Romans 8:28 promises “All things work together for the good and according to His purpose.” Wherever you are in your life, know that God is there for you. Grace is not just about forgiveness but about life! Romans 8:1 says “There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.”

You know sometimes, God puts you in some places alone because He needs you to realize you don’t need anybody but Him. Jesus, the great counselor, is with us. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Trust God’s ways and thoughts. Greg shares with us 14 minutes of nuggets of encouragement and hope in today’s broadcast.

Did your parent ever rip off a Band-Aid? It would hurt for just a second but it sure beat the torture of slowly removing a well-stuck Band-Aid. Sometimes we are going through a storm and we feel like we are being tortured but Jesus reminds us to “Be filled with joy because I have overcome the world.” God cares for us and in order for him to increase, we must decrease. It may feel like a band-aid being ripped off but God’s got you. Trust Him.
