Based on John 1:1 and Hebrews 1:1

God has spoken to us through His Word, but some of the things in His word are difficult for us to believe.  In this message, you can hear about a sign given by God that reminds us that we can always trust God's Word. 

Children experience pure joy at Christmas, but what about adults?  How can we find that sheer joy at Christmas again? 

What does Paul mean when he says that that he says that he "became all things to all people?"  How similar are people in the church today to the Israelites who wandered in the wilderness.

We consider these and much more in this study. 

The account of John the Baptist helps us to see that God loves to work through weakness.

What do we mean when we pray "Thy Kingdom Come?"

The appearance of John and the place where he was baptizing helped to communicate some important things about John.  It can also be helpful in our lives to have reminders of what God has done for us and to what we have been called through faith in Christ. 

Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.  This a main theme found in chapter 8 and 9 and is helpful for us today in deciding what to do and what not to do with our Christian liberty.  We cover that and a lot more in this study. 

This world is broken and filled with broken people. How do we deal with that brokenness?  Will things ever get better? 

In this message we consider the prayers of "Lord, have mercy" and "Come, Lord Jesus" as cries of faith that we can be praying as we live in this broken and sinful world. 

How can we know God's will for our lives? What does it look like to live a life for the Lord?  How can you know what it is that God is calling you to do?  Those are some of the questions we tackle in this study.
