Today Perry and Shawna continue digging deep to find the truth that can help us move into a new normal that is still undefined.  First Shawna shares moments in her life when she faced the unknown—A season of ministry coming to an end; a doctor telling her, “I think your daughter will never walk;” her dad calling her with the news, “Honey, I have cancer.”  What Shawna learned can help us face the unknown of a still undefined new normal. 

 

Then, it grounds us in the storm of the unknown:  Knowing that we’re headed to the city of God where the Lamb is the light.  But as CS Lewis said “If you read history, you will find that Christians who did the most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next.”  Our hope makes us more fully engaged in leaving this world better than we found it!  Then Susan VandePol of Life After Breath shares about becoming a widow as a young mom, being thrust into the unknown, and how Christ met her and her children in that place.
