Our Easter series has been a wonderful excursion through key Old Testament stories, concepts and ideas that all point to Jesus. We’ve covered some of the prophecies of Jesus and some of the promises. Now, this week, we look at the ‘types’ and ‘shadows’. This is when a person or an object or a story represents Jesus in a symbolic sort of way. It can really make the Old Testament very interesting and edifying when we uncover these and receive further revelation of what Christ has done!

As we continue our Easter series, we look at how Jesus is the fulfilment of promises in the Old Testament - and promises still to come.

Jesus was the promise God gave to mankind even from the beginning—and prophecy was how God told us that He would come. In Jesus, everything God intended for mankind comes together. The Old Testament gives us so much insight into exactly why Jesus is the center of all of history.

In this installment of our Galatian series, we dive into Galatians 3:23-29 and look at what it means to live in the identity Jesus died to give us, i.e., Sons and Daughters of God!
