The gospel is no respecter of persons, nor is it exclusive to "good people," but rather, its a product of the faithfulness of Christ (Galatians 2:16) .

In Galatians 2:11-14 we witness confrontation, intimidation, and hypocrisy. There is even a fallout among friends that leads to a split within the church. All this turmoil boiled down to conflicting versions of the gospel.

How important is it to preserve the truth of the gospel? What subtle things pull us away from it? This Sunday, we continued studying Galatians and looked at threats to the gospel and strategies to help us maintain the truth in a topsy-turvy world. We can never be reminded too often that only the gospel will strengthen our souls and solve the problems of our culture.

We continue Paul's testimony and find in that the assurance that we are chosen on purpose, with purpose, and for a purpose.

We continue in our series by looking at Paul's authority and some of his testimony. And what's clear is that Paul, just like us as believers, are the beneficiary of God's amazing grace!
