This week we discuss processing.  What do you need to know if you’re outsourcing this activity?  Also, we get our first sponsor (sell-outs!) and give props to Chadwick Boseman.

This is one of our “list” episodes where we go back and forth with a whole bunch of “uh-oh” moments.  While you can’t always make lemonade out of lemons, you don’t necessarily have to give up either.

Why go through all of that trouble drying and processing your hops when you can just sell them wet, right?  This week we talk about cone maturation and your hopes for wet hop sales.  Plus, Augustfest beers (they are *not* Octoberfests if they come out in August).

What are Extracts, how are they created and what are you compromising by using them?  Also, the social movement to the new Third Space (hint: you’re likely there right now) and for a change, Gregg goes on a bit of a rant.

This is one of those situations where we went out of order, and you’ll know it during the intro.  Do any of you belong to a local hops co-op, how does it work, and what value are you getting?  We’re not fans (shocking!) and get into what makes a valuable partnership and what’s just a waste of money and time.

This week we flip the switch on our Things We Hate episode with a much friendlier look at why we continue to do what we do.  Plus, bleach and cutting fluid.

As so often happens, Part 2 of a longer recording is where we let our hair down (what little of it we have).  We continue speaking to Joe though this time it’s less chemistry-heavy and more about beer styles, we play Beer or No and learn about air quotes in podcasting.  A video version will be on the YouTube channel this week as well!

In all honesty, the audio isn’t up to our usual standards but it’s still usable.  My (Gregg’s) is pretty muddy, but since my contributions to chemistry are usually just one-liners I think you’ll agree it’s worth putting up with for the content.

It’s another one of THOSE episodes where we shoot the breeze on a half dozen different topics.  Drinking out during COVID, glass vs plastic, hoarding Bud Light, hops we’d like to see come back and of course what we’re currently drinking.  It’s like being in the room with us, only better since you can leave when we start getting annoying.
