Hopped-Up 64

While Norris is away on vacation to Somaliland, he had to desperately spin together an episode at the last minute. So in an act of shameless self-promotion, here is the latest episode of a Super Hopped-Up side project: Don't Tread on Weebs! I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in a world where 1% of the hustlers are getting 99% of dat cheddar. This week, a group of old men sit together and reminisce about when their tastes were relevant. That includes, but certainly isn't limited to: their general taste in music, their feelings about the incoming Dragon Ball Fighterz updates, and their thoughts about the new Harley Quinn movie. This week Norris tries not to talk about politics, we spend too much time talking about Jizz Wailing, which isn't what you think it is, and we draw a line in the sand between different kinds of vodka soda. We also really tease out our video game ranking system of "Buttons, Words, and Charts", which now has grown into a way to rate pretty much anything and everything. Hot off the presses, we discuss the games announced for this year's EVO. Less hot off the presses, Matt lets us know he's been too busy playing poker to play video games. Dave and Mike are training in the hyperbolic time chamber in order to improve at Dragon Ball, but a secret villain seems to be getting in their way. Jack has too many video games and doesn't know what to do with them all. And Norris is realizing that much of his GOTY 2020 candidates are going to have come out 8 years ago. All this and Bernie Sanders won Iowa on this week's podcast! All the people on the podcast who play Persona 5 are here, so we end up just playing 'Marry/Smooch/Kill' with all the main characters. There's also a bit on DC tv shows and Half Life 1 mods. But, mostly just Persona 5. (Content Warning: We discuss suicide from around minutes 7 to 11) Check out our youtube! youtube.com/superhoppedup Come join the SHU community! bit.ly/hoppedupdiscord Beer of the Week: Old Yale Brewing Co.'s Himalayan Salted Caramel Porter Hosts: Chris Norris, Steph Fan, David Beebe Intro/Outro Music by David Beebe
