Hops News

Our Wolverine episode somehow turned into a series, and this is part 2 of 3.

After the opening segments, Mash & Hoppy once again sat down with Micah from Tavern Geek, to continue discussing the ultimate living weapon, Wolverine. We focused (or attempted to, we were all a bit buzzed at this point), on the weapon X program, and his involvement in the X-Men. Next week we'll be discussing some of our favorite Wolverine comics, Old Man Logan, and what Wolvie is up to today. Let us know in the YouTube comments, or via Twitter or Instagram, what's your favorite Wolverine story!?

On this episode the boys get together to pregame their Super Bowl party. They go over some of their favorite props and if you follow along, you will realize Lucky lost every one of them.

The crew also does a taste test of the Explorium 4th Anniversary Imperial Stout as a beer that will be included in the upcoming Hops News giveaway.

Wolverine is the best at what he does, but what he does best isn't very nice...bub. Mash & Hoppy brought in Micah from Tavern Geek to discuss all things Wolverine. This is part one! After our opener segments, including geek news, we dove into the comic book origin of the greatest mutant of all time. Movie comparisons definitely snuck their way in, but our focus was the 5 foot 3 inch "little guy" from the comic books. We thought we could fit it all into one episode, but we were very wrong. While we discussed Wolvie's origin this week, next week we'll dig into the Weapon X program, and after that we'll get into Old Man Logan. Then where the comic books are going today, and what Logan's future may look like. So let us know in the comments...which Wolverine story (comic or movie) has been your favorite?

Join the crew tonight as we discuss bad beers. We've all had one or several, but what makes a beer bad for you? Come hang out and share your bad beer experiences!

The crew is joined by one of the funniest duos on the Internet, the Bucky booze podcast. They provide a funny female perspective on some of our favorite Dear Luckys and Barguments.

The crew also cries about the NFC championship game for way too long and discusses why they own the smartest brewery in Milwaukee.

Rob and Keely from Woodland Empire in Boise, ID, had so much fun the first time they stopped by, that they decided to come back for Volume 2. We chat Dungeons & Dragons, tattoos, and their 7th Anniversary Celebration. We drink beers straight from the brewery, and as always deliver the hard-hitting news and discuss Wandavision at the end (because who isn't right now?). Come get your nerd on. CHEERS! Have you played Dungeons and Dragons? Let us know your experiences in the comments. We're considering a future episode where we play, and not just talk.

On this episode, the boys sit down with Mike Doble from Explorium Brew Pub. A very funny interview with one of the fasting growing breweries in Milwaukee.

The crew also talks Conor Mcgregor, Packers football, and poor hygiene.

Mash & Hoppy were joined again by Brad from Common Law Brewing in Spring Hill, TN. After our Geek News and other segments, we discussed different Super Hero themed beers. From a Daredevil Hazy to a Scarlet Witch Brut IPA, and beyond! We (the viewers/listeners) will get to vote on their favorite, and Brad will brew it! Let us know in the comments which one you'd like to see become a reality. We're going to count every vote! There are 5 beers total, and Brad goes into detail about each one. We enjoyed some delicious beer from Pontoon Brewing while we recorded. CHEERS!

Join the crew as they are just hanging out. It is the last episode for a while of just the boys so we made it extra weird for you.

The Geeks are joined by a Hops News Patreon (Robbie) to learn the art of Cobra Kai. Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy. After some Geek News, we discuss the most popular karate soap opera there is. We dug up some show fun facts, and behind the scenes information, and then discussed the awesome, the bad, and the absolutely ridiculous that is Cobra Kai. Let us know in the comments what your favorite scene was, or anything that absolutely drove you nuts! It was a crazy ass season finale.
