Whether a gas station owner planting flowers in Arizona, a young man celebrating his bachelor party in Michigan, or a devoted father just looking for a ride home in Texas, it feels like hate-filled monsters can enact barbaric violence on innocent people at any time. Because white supremacy and homophobia run rampant in this country, and these types of horrific violent crimes are still all too prevalent, it’s all the more important to keep talking about these victims and their stories.
