One of the most famous murders in movie history is the killing of a young deer’s mother. In the Disney classic movie “Bambi”; we are taken of a journey though a young deer’s eyes. As a fawn, he learns from his doting mother that there are dangers in our world. As he grows up, he learns that the world is filled with tragedy as well as beauty.
But as we spoke about in previous episodes; Disney doesn’t necessarily come up with their own tales. They love to take existing fairytales or stories, and change them for their audience to be light and fluffy. But the original tale of Bambi is much darker than you would ever expect.
So get comfortable my spooky friends. It is story time
