Horror Hijacked

I'm back! This episode's selection of films come recommended from the fine folks of Cherry Bomb, a local dive bar here in San Diego. Tonight's picks are: In The Shadow of Kilimanjaro, Last House on Dead End Street, Inner Depravity, and Baby Blood.

Continuing my coverage of aquatic horror, I am joined by Jorge from Who Goes There? Podcast as we discuss Deep Rising and Virus back to back.

Back to my solo episodes for now. Episode seven covers 3 aquatic horror movies that take place at underwater bases! First, the famous 1989 Creature features, DeepStar Six and Leviathan, followed by January's 2020 release of Underwater.

Episode 6 continues right where we left off on Episode 5. Amber and I discuss the horror games we played in 2019, old and new, and then wrap up the show with the titles we're looking forward to later this year as well as what we would like to see from the genre in the future.

On Episode 4, we cover scare acting in the haunt industry. I originally intended to interview many more people, but only had the time this haunt season to sit down with a couple of my buds, Robert and Guillermo, as we discuss some of our favorite roles, how we got started, and the culture and camaraderie within our haunt family. Because of the length of this episode, I'm making this a multi-part series of episodes as I find later opportunities to sit down with more of my haunt family and discuss anything from makeup and wardrobe, to set building and operations.
