Mark left Hollywood not long after NIGHTMARE 2, when he was poised to become a big star. He had just starred in the most successful horror film yet, he had already been onstage and on screen with the likes of Cher, Kathy Bates, and Sandy Dennis... but the homophobia of Hollywood in the 80s meant that he couldn't be who knew he was.
