This week from my sunny holiday destination I give you the rundown on David Gordon Green's Halloween Trilogy.
We have covered these movies individually but after a rewatch of the three this week I thought it would be good to discuss them again before the show ramps up next week.
So we have run the show for quite a while now and although it has evolved as we have gone along there haven't been any significant changes... until now.
In this super brief episode I will give you a quick rundown of what that means.
Also I am actually on holiday so please don't expect miracles this week...
So this week Marc took the task of hide and seek to the extreme as we were unable to locate him to record. However we did track down Becky (This Girl Loves Horror) to chat all things games and chaos for this super fun episode.
We bring back an old game as Becky takes on Save Me, we replace recommended account with where is Marc and just genrally have the usual fun we do every week.
In a first watch for both me and Marc we dive into this 80's Italian horror movie.
Evil dead meets Troma is about the best description of this movie and that came out of Marc's mouth on this episode.
The other things that came out of our mouths are quite weird and wild this week, no apologies juts a waring we are on it today!
The argument that has featured in almost every episode for the past 18 months comes to a head in this all out battle.
With huge listener interactions including voicemails, messages and comments you have your say, leading the way to find the best Shark Movie ever made.
If you are fan of either movie this episode is for you as we paddle over all the best and worst bits of the movies.
Question is who will win? Do not be fooled that this will be a one sided battle it was not!
Time for a dip in the ocean, not too deep though... we are paddling around The Shallows.
As always this episode contains our entertaining take on a movie that we both feel is underappreciated. We also share facts and thoughts of our listeners.
Don't forget to leave us a review wherever you can and if you want to have your voice heard drop us an e-mail [email protected]
This week we dive into some King, Romero madness as the 2 horror greats combine to bring us a horror anthology.
Amazingly this turned out to be a first watch for me (Scott) as i had seen Creepshow 2 and spent years convincing myself I had seen both. As you would imagine with a chaos filled movie the episode follows suit and honestly I am not even sure if we were on the rails to start with.
In addition to our review we bring you a special edition of Broken Spirit where i test Marc's knowledge on Deep Blue Sea in preparation for our vs episode in a few weeks and we get your input to the episode in hot takes and when we check our voicemail.
Remember if you haven't already leave us a 5 star review wherever you can and drop us an e-mail if you have something to say [email protected]
This week we tackle one of arguably the greatest movies ever made regardless of genre. Silence Of the Lambs is movie greatness on so many levels, from acting to direction almost everything is on point.
With that being said there are some things that they cover surrounding the Buffalo Bill character which in our opinion have not aged well. What was acceptable and deemed progressive in the early 90's is now outdated and could be deemed offensive - We do not skip over this rather draw attention to it, not to downplay the movie but to show that things do change over time.
We as always have your thoughts and opinions along with your scores, facts and lots of fun takes on the movie and this is honestly one of my favourite episodes we have ever released.
Wherever you are listening please take the time to drop us a 5 star review, share this with friends, family and anyone else you feel may be interested.
If you want to get in touch with us please send us an e-mail [email protected] or an audio DM on Instagram to be heard on the air.
Thank you for listening and lets silence the screaming lambs together.
This week we take on a listener request and one of the few movies that appears in most "Top Extreme Horror Movie" lists.
Thanatomophose is a hard watch and this episode covers some very tough subject matters but, as always we deliver this in our unique light-hearted and fun way. Hear our thoughts before hearing the comments of the man behind the movie as he shares stories from set, other projects and his love of music.
This is a great episode and we are thrilled Eric decided to join us for this one.
