Horror Show Hot Dog

Movies discussed: Pumpkinhead, Shocker, The People Under the Stairs This week Pumpkinhead disappoints, The People Under the Stairs delights, and Shocker provides a source of juvenile humor. As you might have guessed. Next weeks assignments: The Host (2006) Cloverfield Super 8 Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: The Frighteners, Wishmaster, Drag Me to Hell This week everybody C.H.U.D.’s out for Wishmaster, we finally figure out why Drag Me to Hell doesn’t quite work, and Josh doesn’t understand why The Frighteners is awesome. Next weeks assignments: Pumpkinhead Shocker The People Under the Stairs Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: Ghoulies, Re-Animator, Return of the Living Dead Pretty solid week this week with one of Matt’s favorites Re-Animator, the decidedly sub-par Ghoulies and then the fully C.H.U.D.ed out Return of the Living Dead. Next weeks assignments: The Frighteners Wishmaster Drag Me to Hell Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: The Revenant (2009), Society, The Passion of Darkly Noon A mixed bag this week with Society bringing us the most joy, The Revenant falling somewhere in a gray area and The Passion of Darkly Noon pissing Josh off. Next weeks assignments: Ghoulies Re-Animator The Return of the Living Dead Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: Trollhunter, Dead Snow, Let The Right One In We watched three pretty solid movies this week with the silly fun of Dead Snow, the folksy charm of Trollhunter and the phenomenal Let The Right One In. Next weeks assignments: The Revenant (2009) Society The Passion of Darkly Noon Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: Magic, Devil Doll, Dead of Night This weeks ventriloquist dummy theme was uneven at best. We found other parts of the anthology Dead of Night to appreciate, Devil Doll was pretty good with the MST3K commentary, and Magic had Burgess Meredith. Next weeks assignments: Trollhunter Dead Snow Let The Right One In (2008) Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.

Movies discussed: Saturday the 14th, The Monster Squad, Gremlins 2: The New Batch It’s fond childhood horror comedy week with Saturday the 14th, which Josh insists is good. The Monster Squad, which for some reason Matt hasn’t seen before, and the bug nutty Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Next weeks assignments: Magic Devil Doll Dead of Night Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.
