Today’s guest is Aristotelis who started bartending in 1984, an era with no mobile phones and no internet, just with a book (Mr. Boston: Official Bartender's Guide) and a lot of dedication.
Being very passionate about Hospitality Industry he becomes the co-owner of his own bar in Bucharest, Romania (inspired from Dracula 🧛🏻♂️) in 1991.
Then he starts to participate in cocktail competition, winning some national finals and representing Greece at many Global finals.
In 2009 he is the first winner of Diageo World Class Global Finals and from then he starts a carousel of traveling, judging competitions and delivering masterclasses all around the world in a hectic pace.
In 2012 he officially launches his bar school ShoulShakers where he starts passing the legacy to the new bartending generations from the whole world.
In all this time, Telis continues to follow his passion of continuously mixing drinks and constant improvement of his recipes (from cocktails, mixers, to bitters and vermouths and many more).
As he’s saying “There is always space to make thing better.”
So after so many years, he’s still learning and improving himself.
