Hot Brown Soccertown

*Season 2 Finale*
RJ Allen and Leigh Nieves return for a very CANDID conversation about the happenings in the NWSL.

Content Warning - discussion includes topics such as sexual assault, rape culture, and misogyny.

We wrap up with fun chat about Botox and Marvel movies. What a way to round out the season.

In this episode, I chat with former LouCity goalkeeper Tim Dobrowolski. We reminisce about old times, he tells me the wildest injury story I've ever heard, and we round it out with talk of movies and bourbon.  Enjoy!

This episode features Racing Louisville FC defender Brooke Hendrix.  We chat about food, her stint around Europe, more food, random interests, some more food, her thoughts on the game day experience, and dogs.

Brooke’s work ethic is second to none, and she embodies everything about the culture that this club has worked to build. She sat with me for more than an hour, so there’s definitely something to say about her level of tolerance for my scattered brain.

Enjoy!

This episode is my first ever content creator extravaganza!  I chat with Benton Newman and Bekki Morgan, two fellow BGN content contributors.  We literally talk about all kinds of random things, but there is a bunch of soccer talk in here, too.  These two are way smarter than me, so sit back and enjoy them.

This episode features Christy Holly, the head coach of Racing Louisville FC.  We talk a little bit about soccer, but mostly about lots of other things, so you will get to know him on a more personal level.

I want to give a quick shout out to some fellow content creators, as well.  Special thanks to Fleur-de-lis FC for featuring me this week, as well as Bekki Morgan and Benton Newman, fellow contributors, and our local news stations, specifically WDRB, for covering our teams and our supporters.

This is one info-packed episode with Backline Soccer's very own RJ Allen.  She drops a ton of NWSL knowledge on me, and we chat about Racing Louisville FC and how the club has begun to solidify itself as a contender in the league.

On this episode, I had the cool opportunity to chat with Niall McCabe, the OG LouCity legend from Ireland.  We spent time talking about COVID, family, staying focused through adversity, Irish food, the Academy, Racing Louisville FC, and all kinds of other things.

We talked so much that his phone battery almost died, so this won’t be the end. Enjoy Niall McCabe, Part 1!

In this episode, we get to know Lance McGarvey, co-host of Soccer City Radio and PA Announcer for Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC.  We name drop a few other supporters, talk about Lance's journey through sports and soccer, and chat about The Price is Right.

In this episode, I chat with Lauren Schuster, the Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator for Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC.  We talk about her vision for the local soccer community and how she wants to see it grow.

I chat with Benton Newman, founder and contributor of VamosMorados.com.  We shoot the breeze about rosters, life as fans and content producers, and a little bit of wrestling.
