In the current hot summer weather, first responders and disaster teams still have to train. We bring back past guest James Corbin (@Wilderness_PA on Twitter) to talk about how to train in hot weather and how doing that training has positive effect on fitness. He and Dr. Joe Holley talk about the ways the body’s physiology adjusts to regular exertion in hot weather. This is a must listen for the current time.

Our disaster weather expert, Becky DePodwin, also gives us a tropical weather update on Tropical Storm Gonzalo in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Hanna in the Gulf of Mexico, and Hurrican Douglas in the Pacific.
