If we want to be like Jesus, we must devote time each day to quiet reflection on God's Word and prayer.  Successful Christian living requires daily devotion as a foundational component. In these times when iniquity abounds and the love of many is waxing cool, it is more important than ever to devote time each day to prayer, Bible study, and worship to the Lord.  The least we can do is go back to these basic beliefs and tenets of our faith, without which we could all be swept away. In the name of Jesus, the Lord will help us.

Pastor Goke Afolayan shares a reflection and testimony about our National Convention 2022 with us. We were able to hear the word of God from the leading men of God from GOFAMINT North America, which made our convention a success. It was a great experience for all who attended, as we were able to share experiences and testimonies of God's faithfulness.  Among the highlights of our convention were welcoming the new National Overseer and his team while celebrating our former National Overseer and his team. The atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration as we continued to share God's word and wisdom to help strengthen our faith, to continue to move forward in our journey with God, and to be a maker of Greater Works.  Throughout the convention, we experienced a strong sense of unity as we all gathered to witness the word of God from different GOFAMINT churches in the country, and to encourage each other in our common goal of witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone who attended the convention left feeling uplifted, motivated, and recharged with a sense of hope and joy in their hearts that can only be attained by having faith and trusting in God's plan for us.

This is our month of Jubilation.  Regardless of the difficulties you've been facing, your Redeemer is never far from you and is always there by your side. Remember that you have a God who cares about you and who will never ignore you, even when you are going through tough times. He will never turn his back on you. It is not true that your life has been devoid of happy or significant moments simply because you have felt unhappy or have been in an uncomfortable situation at some point in time. This is not correct. The celebration of a person's jubilee marks the culmination of a victorious struggle against difficult conditions and experiences throughout their life.

The next part in this series has Elder Michael Akosile talking about the characteristics of a Christian and what it means to call oneself a Christian. Earlier on in this series, we spoke about the reasons why being a Christian is beneficial, as well as the things that a Christian is not.  In the same way that there are signs and symbols used for transportation, there are also symbols that represent Christians throughout the world.  Elder Michael Akosile considers it to be a tragic fact that in today's world, a sizeable percentage of people who identify as Christians are expected to always have letters of recommendation on them. The fact that they are required to provide letters of endorsement from their previous congregations in order to be accepted as brothers in other churches is a really unfortunate circumstance.   We pray that the words I'm about to share bring you joy and peace in your life.

Jeroboam was the first king of Israel or northern kingdom, in the establishment of the period known as the Divided Kingdom, after the sin and removal of King Solomon.  On this Father's Day, Pastor Afolayan, spoke several points about this King.  If a man is on the wrong path, his heart will give him an excuse that blinds him from God's truth. Will he eventually find himself living a life that is full of regret?  With this reasoning, he doesn't compare his actions to what God has told him to do, he ignores divine and God-given advice, he avoids the priesthood, but he gets advice that backs up his plans and reasoning, he stays on his path, and he may get stuck there forever. This man might end in perdition,

Children of destiny are children who were included in God's plan and purpose long before they were even born. This plan and purpose existed before the children were even conceived.  Children of destiny are children of light and children of peace.  Children of destiny walk in harmony with the plan that God has for them, and they take their instructions from the Bible, which is the word of God (Holy bible).

At our Thanksgiving and International Day and Cookout Service, we were surrounded by numerous testimonies and outstanding performances from other places. But we could not have been more honored by the presence of our Associate Pastor, Dr. Olubunmi Oni, who spoke on the subject of "Celebrating Christ, the giver of overwhelming victories." We were surrounded by numerous prophetic statements. Conclusion: If we are not connected to and affiliated with Christ, we cannot achieve overwhelming victories. And that we must enjoy all of our achievements in Christ, without giving honor to anything or anybody else. This message is meant to bless you, your family, and your future.

Among the benefits of being a Christian are:  1. Being adopted into God’s family, because it gives the Christian a right to God’s heritage. By being adopted, Christians are given the same rights as Christ when it comes to God's things.  2. The sinner before conversion was under bondage and fear, fear of God’s presence and wrath, (the aroma effect). But now that he is a child of God, he feels love and affection instead of fear. He now has the courage to go to God and call Him "Abba Father," which is what a child says to his father.  3. The Christian has the witness of the Spirit in him or her that he or she is a child of God. God's family offers greater privileges than an earthly one. God doesn't have grandkids. All Christians have equal rights regardless of ethnicity, origin, status. The Holy Spirit is what legalizes the believer as an adopted son and gives him full rights as Jesus Christ himself.
