This week, Sian finally finishes a proper grown-up book, discovers the Korean dating show Eternal Singles, and very nearly poisons the entire family with her questionable barbecue skills. Bobby, meanwhile, learns that he isn't eighteen any more after finding himself trapped in the middle of a mosh pit at a gig.
In this week's Spin the Yarn, Bobby tells the strange story of the Polaroid Ghost Writer, following the experiences of Huckert and Wakouski in the early 1990s. What began as a haunting soon became something much stranger, with messages seemingly appearing in smoke on Polaroid photographs in response to questions asked by the pair.
In What Have You Got?, Sian shares some bizarre facts she picked up from the children's programme Do You Know?, including whether water is actually wet, why most maps are technically wrong, and whether it's really possible to die laughing.
We finish off with the algorithm, where Bobby introduces Sian to the man who became emotional over a spool of wire while his wife remained completely unimpressed, followed by a father who decided it would be a brilliant idea to terrify his seven-year-old son with a Chucky doll.
Ghosts, questionable parenting, and the usual waffle. 🏠🧇
