A political storm is brewing on Capitol Hill as the House Oversight Committee issues 11 subpoenas tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Targets include Bill and Hillary Clinton, former FBI directors James Comey and Robert Mueller, and six former attorneys general. Chair James Comer is demanding unredacted DOJ files by Aug. 19, with depositions beginning Oct. 14. Notably, former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, who negotiated Epstein’s 2008 “sweetheart deal,” is not on the subpoena list.
