I don't know what day it is. Haven't left the house in weeks. What point does a summary make anyways? Just listen to the episode, OK?
Physically separated, but closer than ever, Naomi and Rachel find a way to do the podcast each from their own homes. The new normal of staying inside and socially distant is discussed. This is a very difficult state of affairs for naturally social ladies, but even in this crazy moment the world has found itself in, there is joy and laughter to be found.
This episode was recorded in the before time - before all our lives were turned upside down. It was the end of January and it was just a normal episode that producer/husband didn't get around to posting right away because he came down with the flu the next day and was out of commission all February. There might be some singing on this episode, and he planned to put it to music, but finding that spare hour wasn't meant to be, so the episode is presented au naturale. Meal planning is discussed, and the ladies explore why wives can bitch about husbands, but not the other way around.
On today's episode the ladies get right into "The Grass Is Never Greener" theory, and how Caroline Calloway has leaked into all of out subconscious plus they discuss the importance of the work blazer and how to tackle The Big Three chores while being a busy working mom.
Rachel and Naomi discuss texting styles and the consequences of either texting or not texting right back. Also, having outbursts in public, going back to work and the ups and downs of hosting. Get ready for some peri-menopausal rage and lively conversations as the girls unpack these juicy topics!
Rachel & Naomi continue their discussion about "ways to deal" with special guest, friend of the pod, Maia Taub. They keep talking about other "ways to deal" including meditation and talk therapy. Also in this episode: Beauty Tips! Enjoy!
Rachel and Naomi along with special guest, friend of the pod and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Maia Taub, discuss some various "ways to deal" with the daily stressors of life. The ladies chat about Gratitude and Manifesting and how to incorporate that into your daily life. Also in this episode: Trader Joe's Tips!
On today's episode, in Women's Health, the ladies talk about female friendships and take a deep dive into different ways to agree to disagree. And in House and Home Rachel talks about ways to be more eco-friendly by buying in bulk.
Keeping with Season Four's shorter format the ladies only have two table topics...well, two "official" topics. Rachel and Naomi discuss how parenting teens is reminiscent of parenting babies and toddlers....everyone has an opinion! And Naomi breaks down where to splurge and where to save with her Beauty Tips. Also a big heads up: We're now on Spotify!
Rachel and Naomi continue with the shorter format and in Life Coaching they discuss the importance of getting away and talk about some creative options on how to do so on a budget. And in TV/Entertainment they dig into Catastrophe, The OJ Simpson Trial and Dead to Me.
