We have designed a breakout that lets folks use either 8-bit or SPI addressing mode - similar to our 3.5" resistive breakout (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2050). this tester lets us verify both 'sides' work: flip the switch one way to test the display in SPI mode plus SD card, flip the other way to communicate via 8-bit 8080-style and also verify the touchscreen. with all tested, its time for us to hopefully get these displays out the door!
