            • How Can Our Students And Teachers Take Advantage Of Free EdTech Apps During Social Learning Days?
              1. This is a great opportunity to try out some new tools but keep these things in mind:
                1. Look for tools that give students the opportunity for Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authentic Learning opportunities (COVA)
                2. Be aware of privacy issues … like uploading student data
                3. Make sure that it aligns with district policy and curriculum

                4. Take advantage of Facebook groups. Educators are sharing templates and activities that you can make a copy and edit to fit your curriculum needs.

                  2. Not so Wimpy Teachers
                  3. Teachers using Google Classroom
                  4. Teachers using Google Suite for Education
                  5. Twitter: #remotelearning
                  6. Book Creator Teachers

                  7. Don’t get overwhelmed...start slow
                    1. Start with tools that students are familiar with
                    2. Make a collection of what you see by saving the link. (Wakelet, Google Keep)
                    3. Start small until you get acclimated to distance learning.
                    4. Simple can be powerful
