Are you part of the crowd, a follower, or a disciple of Jesus?
In this episode of Generations at the Table, Megann Marcellino talks about the process and fruit of discipleship. In Jesus’ earthly ministry, He was surrounded by multitudes, gained followers, and had a close circle of disciples. What separated the groups was their motivation– the crowds were moved by curiosity, the disciples by commitment and the desire to engage and apply what He taught and how He lived.
Moving out of the crowd to follower to disciple is a series of choices motivated by our desire–what we want the most. It’s when we apply God’s wisdom and instruction to our lives that the transformation begins. But we must choose His will over our own and take up our cross daily to reap the fruit of deeper relationship and intimacy with God.
Join Megann as she shares the power of daily choices, how God invites us to participate in miracles and Kingdom building, and the fruit of choosing to engage, sacrifice, and surrender to Jesus as a committed disciple.
