Immediately it was clear who clinched the election for the Republicans – men.

And so stones of hyperbole, already, have started to be thrown; with outraged Democrats blaming a so-called "racist" and "sexist" electorate, who want to putatively punish women, stripping away their rights, to send them back to a handmade's tale.

But is it that simple?

Why did so many men fail to vote for the Democrats, are they sexist, or did they simply not see a party that was doing anything for them?

And when an entire political wing labels men as 'toxic', 'privileged', 'violent', 'oppressive,' and compares them to bears – is it surprising so many packed up their bags and left?
