For Reference:  Dance Fever was a dance competition show hosted by Deney Terrio in 1979 and  Solid Gold was a top 10 music countdown show with the solid gold dancers in 1980.  For the record, we all wanted to be Solid Gold dancers...maybe for the shoes? 

Rebecca says she struggles with over committing herself.  But she has discovered that when she is present/ in the moment, she learns and experiences so much more.  

The lessons she wants to share...It's ok to say no.  Just stop, reflect and put things into perspective.  There will be those things you'll have to learn to let go of.

FYI - Crooklyn is a 1994 movie by Spike Lee where Troy learns life lessons through her brothers...I'm pretty sure its available to stream today.

Keep in mind...not everything will have a fulfilling ending.  You won't always get the wrap up that you hope for.  So remember to enjoy the process...take satisfaction in the journey.
