How Did This Get Booked?!?

On this episode of HDTGB comedian, Drew Covert sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss a Wrestling….. Classic??? The big head-scratcher about this show is, If you are going to give away a car in 1985 why aren’t you giving away a DeLorean? One thing that is not a mystery is why the WWF never did another 16 man tournament in one night on PPV. Because this show would be exhibit A. The Wrestling Classic is truly a showcase for Macho Man Randy Savage’s strength in character and Lord Alfred Hayes lack in character. Hurry up and download this podcast before JYD counts your shoulders down for the 1-2-3.

On this episode of HDTGB comedian, Raj Kumar sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss an american institution, WCW’s Great American Bash. When people talk about the disfunction of WCW this is exhibit A and the smoking gun. Raj is completely unaware of the woes of WCW because he hasn’t seen anything wrestling related for over 20 years. In fact, the last thing Raj saw that was wrestling related was a Bollywood movie about pro wrestling. So, that means Raj is more qualified to run WCW than Jim Herd. On this episode of HDTGB comedian Devin Harris sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss a documentary (and we use the word, documentary very loosely) on New Jack. One thing that all three men would like to make very clear is that they all love New Jack, but for different reasons. Zane & Jake love New Jack because they are 20% in awe of him & the other 80% is based on fear of him. Were as Devin loves New Jack because he reminds him of a guy he knew in college who was simply know as, Zone. On this episode of HDTGB comedian Mark Viola sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss not 1 but 2 videos that sort of killed the business of pro wrestling.  Admittedly, Mark was a huge fan of pro wrestling as a kid but then 2004 happened. Damn you Entourage & CSI: New York!  Although, Mark was a fan he never had the secrets exposed to him nor did he pay a shifty looking guy with a mustache to find out. Luckily, Salem the cat from Sabrina The Teenage Witch was available to help pull back the curtain to all of these those juicy secrets like, stunt grannies.  As always for corrections tweet at Jake @manscoutmanning or email him at [email protected].  Make sure you checkout HowDidThisGetBooked.com for more information on the next episode. On this episode of HDTGB comedian Ryan Van sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss the lowest point in Lawrence Taylor & Bret Hart’s career, WrestleMania XI. Even though Jonathan Taylor Thomas was there the WWE still needed some Home Improvement on it’s public image. So, what better way to up their public profile than having almost 20 photographers at ringside. Hopefully you can make it all the way to the end of this podcast and dance with Salt-N-Pepa unlike Lawrence Taylor. On this episode of HDTGB writer & authors John G. Hartness & Gail Z Martin sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss a show that finally answers the question that this show asks (How Did This Get Booked) with the name of the show. (They Said It Couldn’t Be Done) Gail Z. Martin sums up her entire experience watching the show with one sentence, “I didn’t know violence could be so boring”. On this episode of HDTGB comedian Mikee Steinberg sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss the Hulk Hogan starring vehicle, Thunder in Paradise. For the record, this movie has everything.  Pro Wrestler cameos, a speed boat, sexy extras in bikinis, bad New York accents from New York natives, unsafe gunplay, deep mental scaring of a child, misogynistic clauses to last will & testaments, refugees being welcomed in America, ass less chaps AND THE LIST GOES ON. And we cover it all on this episode of How Did This Get Booked ?!? On this episode of HDTGB comedian Bryan Penn sits down with Zane & Jake to discuss World Wrestling Coalition. A show from the post Y2K world where there will be no T&A and bad language BUT plenty of eye candy & non consensual sexual advances on a child in a church bathroom. This show asks more questions than it answers. Such as, Is The Plague, The Mauler & Black the same person and what does Wacky Wayne Woo mean he holds up 3 fingers as says read between the lines??? But we can one attempt to answer one question at a time and the hosts and guest need to stay focus and answer the question at hand, How Did This Get Booked ?!?
