We focus on how we can grow up into full maturity as Jesus followers.  First, we need the word of God more than the air we breathe because as Shawna transparently shares, there are many lies coming at us every day.  And the word leads us into the truth and the truth sets us free!  Next Perry shares how achievement is his default mode to try to earn God’s favor.  And the gospel is setting him free to rest in that favor and to grow up in Jesus.  Find out what that looks like in his life.  And finally Shawna shares that disciple means learner.  And if learning is part of growing, and it is, we need to step out and try things, like praying in front of others or sharing our faith, and not expect to be perfect!  Just do the next right thing.  Growing deep.  Going deep.
