How Does That Sound? episodes

  • What's wrong with personal branding?

Lerit and Tobi discuss the best ways entrepreneurs and professional workers can approach personal branding without losing their authenticity in the process. They also share their favorite and least favorite social media platforms at the moment.

    ----

Each week, Lerit and Tobi sit down to chat and learn more about each other’s careers.

She’s a fashion stylist and he's a writer. They know nothing about what the other person does — that’s not entirely true, she knows more about writing than he knows about fashion.

Every other week, a new guest joins them to share their own career journey and experience. How does that sound?

  • The realities of running a small business w/ Fope Nkwocha

Fope Nkwocha joins Lerit and Tobi to have a candid conversation about running a small business, targeting the right audience, and balancing corporate life with entrepreneurship.

    ----

    About Fope:

Fope Nkwocha is a true mult-hyphenate. Currently serving as a professor of marketing for small businesses at Mohawk College, Fope has cultivated a wealth of experience that extends beyond traditional academia.

As a marketing consultant, content creator, and small business educator, Fope specializes in navigating the intricate intersection of business growth, personal stories, and love and relationships.

Fope's impact is most prominently felt on her YouTube channel, '@fopsythegreat,' where she shares resources on life, business, and love. Through her podcast, 'Dear Fopsy,' Fope shares personal and small business stories of resilience, emphasizing the common threads that connect us all. Fope is also the author of Situationship: How to Stop Breaking Your Own Heart.

Her career includes leading Google for Small Business in Canada and diverse roles across both the private and public sectors over the last decade.
