How does the world react to Jesus being the light of the world? John 1:10-11 says, "He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him." Most people don’t recognize Jesus as light. In fact most people flat out reject Jesus. But there's hope! John 1:12-13 tells us, "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." Believing in Jesus' name means trusting in who He is. He’s fully God, fully man, Creator, and Savior. When we receive Him that way, we become part of God's family, experiencing His grace and truth. That really is the good news we all need. Thanks for listening.
