Remember Stephanie Powers from episode 25? Allen and Julian sat down with her and got to know the Lightworker herself. Stephanie is an astrologer, an entrepreneur, an explorer of the soul and a podcaster, just to name a few things. She hosts Light Workers Lounge--a podcast that explores the human experience through all of its spiritual ups and downs. She's incredibly raw and open and had an incredible point of view about the world.

Julian was abandoned by his best pals this week, so he decided to bring her back and have her do an astrological birth chart reading. It's a pretty heavy conversation at times, but all with the intention of breaking through the walls we sometimes don't know how to climb over. Stephanie brings up a lot of relatable topics through the reading and Julian does his best to expose what's in his heart as honestly and forthcoming as he can. Welcome to episode 50! Unfortunately for everyone listening, our burly, bushy eye-browed, brunette--Stevie-Baby had some gnarly dental work to attend to, so he couldn't participate. But Allen and Julian made due and walked into a pretty deep conversation about their relationship with a higher power. How we are the source of our own happiness as well as our sadness. And how we MUST work to prioritize our mental health. They boys go on about how they find it in themselves daily to get out of bed and stay inspired and where that comes from. But needless to say, it's not just some inherent gift. We all have different circumstances and life can be a real b*tch sometimes, but we are powerful beings that possess the strength to control our attitude more than we sometimes give ourselves credit for. And we want to de-stigmatize mental health issues, because whether you believe it or not, we all have them.

When the boys taped this, it was Stevie Baby's Birthday. July 14th, to be exact. So put it in your calendars and don't forget! After celebrating Steve, and talking about their appreciation for aging, the fellas talk about the legacy of this podcast. How things become popular and what these episodes will sound like 20 years from now. They also go on a deep dive into MMA fighting, and what it must take to get started in that profession. But as they come to realize that everything is relative; it becomes clear that everyone starts nowhere and has to figure it out. In music or in acting or in banking or anything you choose to do. Everything takes time, energy, fortitude and a sh*t ton of work ethic, but if you're willing to put in the work--and lucky enough to have some opportunities come your way, you're going to experience the climb. At the end of the day, however, it's not about being amazing at what you do; it's about being committed and enthusiastic about it. The fellas are catching up across the world from each other again and they’re reminiscing on when Julian had Bells Palsy and Allen broke 10 bones in a four year span. All the lessons or lack thereof they learned from going through those experiences. And how the hell Allen is going to prevent his own child from doing the same shit. The Sha’Carri Richardson controversy is brought up and the boys share their opinions on the seemingly backwards politics behind the Olympic Games. How drugs have affected our country and what we hope we can all do to resolve the issues. Then Allen goes on a deep dive into how the pandemic afforded him the time to watch his son turn into a little man, and how he plans to build his balance with it all once he hits the road again, inevitably. Remote conversations are in full effect. The boys have a long one for you this week. They missed each other, so they decided to keep talking. We hope you don't mind. This episode features talks about; the difficulty of smiling natural for photos, how they each learned the value of a dollar from a young age, their fear of motorcycles, what the legal drinking age should be, snowboarding crashes, their unending desire to create more work together for the rest of their lives, and UFO's, now known as UAP's (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena). So, the last couple of months the boys haven't actually been together. They backlogged a stack of episodes and put them out weekly. Did anyone know? That's why it was Allen's birthday for six episodes straight. But the boys left town and departed each other. Steve stuck around in Spokane WA, Julian went back to New York and Allen and his family went to Australia. They thought we'd be back in the attic by now, but things happened and their schedules got pushed back! Worry never though, because the boys have figured out how to keep this thing running! And it's the first real catch up since their departure back in March.

Take a seat as they bring you into their remote locations from around the world. Allen tells the ridiculous story about the only gig he's had in a year that went horribly awry, and the lengths he had to go to make it all work out. They boys catch up on what they've been doing since being away from each other. It's been big adjustments for all of us, but despite any of it, the boys are laughing their asses off at each other once again. And FINALLY Stevie-Baby is in the mix and we get to look at his beautiful face all episode long.

The boys just went out to dinner and they are pumped about it! But an argument is set into motion when Julian says he could care less about the meal and really only cares about the company. Allen thinks he’s lying for attention, but it opens them up to talk about their cooking styles and favorite meals to make. Who’s the kitchen king and why does Allen use so many god damn pans when he makes food? They talk about getting back on the road and playing live shows again with a new found respect for their time and energy developed in Covid times. There’s some outdated Covid talk but it’s interesting to hear the perspective the boys had earlier on and it’s actually kind of holds up. And as the world reopens, we actually have a lot to look forward to as far as live music, and possibly taking this show on the road! Then somehow they wind up talking about the regulation and legality of drugs in our country and how that’s affecting us as a culture. Allen Stone will be running for congress 2036. Don't vote for him. Also, tomorrow is Julian's birthday. Happy Day!
