Join me on a trip to the seaside, as we head to North Yorkshire and check into a hotel that opened in 1867 as the largest hotel in Europe. The hotel has since seen its fair share of highs and lows, and was even targeted by Adolf Hitler during World War II as being perfect for his base in England. Today the hotel is, sadly, a budget hotel but it is still a popular, historic, retreat for those heading to this delightful town.
And of course it’s rumoured to be haunted, but just what eerie phenomena is said to occur within this once great building?
Let’s head to the seaside and ask together, just how haunted is Scarborough’s Grand Hotel?

Originally released for Patreons at Halloween 2023 I hope you enjoy this very special episode.
Join me, as my team I step foot inside an ancient inn, labelled by many as the most haunted in Britain. We would have a night that none of us would ever forget.
But just what happened when my team and I once again headed to York, the most haunted city in the world, and dared to ask just how haunted is the Golden Fleece?

The culmination of Vampire Month sees us head into the heart of Transylvania, and we will delve deep into the life and death of Vlad III Dracula, a man who undoubtedly influenced Bram Stoker’s decision to place his Dracula here. We will then go in search of ghosts in three gothic castles with ties to not only Vlad, but Dracula himself.
This Halloween night join me in asking just how haunted are the vampiric castles of Transylvania?
Huge thanks to Yvonne and David from the Scottish Ghost Company for talking to me about their night in Bran Castle.

In the 26th Patreon bonus podcast you join me for a very special Halloween Patreon episode as I am on location in the Scottish Borders. You will come with me as I walk these ancient streets and ramparts, and tell you the dark history and ghost stories of the most northern town in England. And of course this October is Vampire Month on the How Haunted? podcast, and there are vampires to found here as you’ll hear not one, but two stories of those neck-obsessed creatures of the night.
So join me this Spooky Season, and together let us ask, just how haunted is Berwick-upon-Tweed?
Get access to the full episode, which is pver an hour long, right now at https://www.patreon.com/howhauntedpod.
We continue Vampire Month by going in search of Dracula in an English seaside town which has fully embraced its status as the gothic capital of the UK. As we get ever closer to Halloween we will explore in depth why this place is so intrinsically linked to vampires, I will guide you on a tour of the locations with ties to Dracula, and we will look for ghosts and ghouls in some of the town’s oldest, and most iconic, structures.
So lets’ ask together, can Dracula be found in Whitby?

This time out, we continue Vampire Month by heading across the pond to the oldest neighbourhood in the city of New Orleans, and it’s here we will go in search of those blood sucking creatures who stalk in the dead of night.
Not only will we look at the vampiric connections to this place, but we will, of course, seek out the ghosts and ghouls that may be found here.
So let us ask together, just how haunted is New Orleans’ French Quarter?

The scariest month of the year is here, so let us begin a month of weekly episodes themed for those shape shifting, coffin dwelling, blood sucking monsters – the vampire.
To kick off Vampire Month on the How Haunted? podcast, we will look at the origins, and evolution, of the vampire legend, and then we will head across the globe to explore a number of locations which may offer up evidence that vampires may well be more than merely myth.
Join me tonight, as together we ask the question, could vampires actually be real?

Join me once again on a paranormal investigation at a building dating from the 14th century. Last episode you’ll have heard what happened when we entered the tower for the first time and attempted to communicate with the ghosts that reside here, in particular the White Lady, and there’s so much more to hear.
So, lets ask together just how haunted in Cresswell Pele Tower?

In the 25th Patreon bonus podcast we're doing something a little bit special. In April I found a hard drive containing audio from four investigations that I conducted in 2011 and 2012. Dozens of hours of audio that I lost around a decade ago, and I thought was lost forever. These were four absolutely incredible locations, and I have covered all four investigations - minus the audio from that night - on the podcast previously. So in the Patreon specials across June, July, August, and September I will revisit those episodes and add in the audio, which was seemingly lost forever. I've saved the best until last, and September's Patreon exclusive episode includes over two hours and 15 minutes of audio from that unforgettable night, so you can hear what happened, exactly as it happened.
But what would happen when my team and I descended beneath the city streets to investigate this tourist attraction that has found infamy, since it opened in 2003, and is now regarded as one of the most haunted places, in an incredibly haunted city.
Tonight, let us find out together as we ask the question, just how haunted is Mary King’s Close?
Get access to the full episode, which is almost THREE AND A HALF HOURS long, right now at https://www.patreon.com/howhauntedpod.
This time our we do something a little bit different, as you join me in the remote Northumbrian countryside at a pele tower dating from the 14th century. I join Spiritus Paranormal for a paranormal investigation, and I’m taking you along with me as not only will I tell you all about the history, the legends, and the ghost stories, but I’ll talk you through every aspect of our investigation on that summer’s night, and you’ll hear the actual audio so you can hear what happened, exactly as it happened. There’s a lot to hear, so this is the first of a two-part special.
So, without further ado lets ask together, just how haunted is Cresswell Pele Tower?
As the podcast reaches it's 2nd birthday I want to thank YOU for downloading How Haunted? If it wasn't for you, there's absolutely no way I'd still be making episodes for you to hear. Who's the best? That's right, you are! :)
