Welcome to How Have You Not Seen, a movie podcast where we work 50 times harder, and are gonna be 50 times more famous than you!
This week, Caroline introduces Carson to Martin Scorsese's brutally hilarious black comedy, The King of Comedy. Yeah, yeah, yeah we timed this to the release of Joker 2, what of it?? Go eat a sandwich out of a briefcase why don't ya...
This week's important questions;
Is this movie darker than Taxi Driver?
Does wanting to be famous make you crazy?
Is any of this even real, man??
-and-
Robert DeNiro; absolutely GOATed with the sauce?

Welcome to How Have You Not Seen, a movie podcast where we DON'T. TREAT. WOMEN. LIKE. THAT!
This week, Carson introduces Caroline to the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced thriller/Nicholas Cage action vehicle/Die Hard 2 clone Con Air. Does this movie (I'm so sorry) take off.... or crash and burn? Either way, it's gonna be a real good time.
This week's important questions;
Does anybody actually like flying?
What level of goofiness is Dave Chappelle at in this one?
Why is the Hulk green?
-and-
Wait, Caroline likes Nick Cage's hair in this movie?

Welcome to a new season of How Have You Not Seen! A movie podcast where this week Caroline introduces Carson to Jack Reacher; a drifter with nothing to lose and an action thriller directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise that's not a Mission Impossible. A great film and a slight refresh for the HHYNS brand. It's gonna be a real good time.
This week's important questions;
Why does this movie not have a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes?
Are there any detective stories that don't valorize the police even a little bit?
Why shoot an action movie in Pittsburgh?
What's the difference between Jack Reacher and Jack Ryan, exactly?
-and-
Eli Roth directed Borderlands?

Everyone join us in wishing a very fond farewell to our incredible producer Corey. (Carson's the new producer and that's why this episode is three weeks late)
In this installment of HHYNS; we say goodbye to Corey, discuss future programming changes to the show, and do a main-feed WHWS about our favorite films of the year so far and what we're looking forward to in the back half of 2024.
It's gonna be a real good time
Information on (former) Producer Corey's Columbus,OH based theatre company, Endeavor, can be found here; https://endeavor-theatre.com/
What we expected to be a lovely conversation about Emma Seligman's feature debut, 2021's 'Shiva Baby'. Caroline & Producer corey defend the INCOMPARABLE Rachel Sennott performance, argue that Dianna Agron is amazing in this, and make a case that this film is more stressful than the entirety of 'Uncut Gems.' And, Carson... thought it was FINE. This is a wild, but REALLY good time.

This week we are hitting the GYM and discussing Michael Bay’s American Masterpiece, 2013’s Pain & Gain. Should The Rock have an Oscar? Is Michael Bay the only filmmaker to have multiple Razzies AND multiple entries in The Criterion Collection? Listening to the difference between Caroline’s presumed opinions in the first half and her actual opinions in the second half is worth the price of admission alone.
